Make sure to research reviews other than Lifesurge website! We were so excited to attend this 'Christian' seminar. It's a sales scheme using Christianity to draw people. The 3 day course they push to sell is $97 which is a course on investing, where you will then be pushed to purchase a $19k - $40,000 investment into their investment software. Wowwww, they even have some loan officers to help you obtain a loan. We were so disappointed and drained knowing that proclaimed Christians are ok with pushing a program that results in a sales pitch for more money.

Just a sales pitch
Just a sales pitch. Waste of time! This is absolute blasphemy, claiming to be day of worship , but instead you have to listen to information about their classes.
I absolutely got a kick out of their disclaimer *during the show* stating that none of the people their are licensed to give the information they were giving yet they don’t explain the risks of their TERRIBLE “strategies”.
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL and shame on the people that put it together.

Hi Randy. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and would love to provide some further clarity as to who we are.
Life Surge is a Christian education company focused on equipping individuals to live out their faith in practical, real-world ways—particularly in business, leadership, and finances. This is a premium education experience designed for those ready to commit time and resources. As stated on our website, we offer additional products and services to our attendees. These optional courses are offered at the attendee’s discretion, allowing each individual to determine which package, if any, best meets their needs.
We understand that topics like financial and educational growth can sometimes feel unfamiliar or even uncomfortable within parts of the Christian community. However, we remain confident in our commitment to serving the Lord with our resources and encouraging others to do the same. While not all believers may approach these areas in the same way, we believe Christ should be at the center of every pursuit—including those that challenge us to grow.
Have a blessed day.

Very Disapointed
Very Disapointed, 30 dollar parking fee,I purchased "premier"tickets to have to sit very far away from stage to have to be constantly moving from side to avoid having to look at the persons head in front of me,the screen that i had to watch was all the way in the front, very hard to watch, also couldnt hear that well, looks like they placed speakers all the way in front,I left halfway through the second australian speaker with heavy accent, I couldnt take it anymore

“MOST PEOPLE MAKE NO MONEY!”
LifeSurge breaks my heart and offends the Lord. Let me be clear: I do not believe in a scarcity mindset. God delights to give abundance to His people, and all who use their gifts to honor Him can bear great fruit--including financial wealth (as a tool not a goal).
I attended a LifeSurge arena event for $40 (the top of the marketing funnel). At first, it felt like a worship gathering--moving music, famous Christian speakers, Kingdom language, and constant references to Jesus. Riding the emotional wave, the funnel tightened upselling classes for $97. Instead of following the crowd, I started reading reviews; many attendees experienced poor results or outright disappointment. The three 8-hour "training" days I attended tightened the funnel with upsells costing $25,000-$45,000.
This type of "seminar circus" is not new. It began with Dale Carnegie in the 1930s-40s, continued with Earl Nightingale and Napoleon Hill in the 1950s-60s, then Tom Hopkins and Zig Ziglar in the 1970s-80s, followed by Tony Robbins and Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) in the 1990s-2000s. Today, it's been repackaged with Kingdom language in Jesus' name. The sales psychology is wolfy, worldliness in sheep's clothing.
Here are the ten psychological triggers normally used:
1. Authority & Credibility -- Famous names, bestselling authors, and millionaires position themselves as experts you must follow.
2. Social Proof -- Rooms full of cheering attendees and testimonies create FOMO and conformity.
3. Scarcity & Urgency -- "Only 20 seats left! Offer ends today!" to force rushed decisions.
4. Foot-in-the-Door -- Small $97 commitment softens you up for the $25K-$45K upsell.
5. Sunk Cost Fallacy -- Once you've paid, you justify paying more to avoid feeling you wasted money.
6. Dreamselling -- Selling identity, freedom, and transformation instead of concrete delivery.
7. Exclusivity -- Inner circles and elite masterminds feed pride and status-seeking.
8. Information Asymmetry -- The details stay vague until you've already paid.
9. Anchoring -- High prices make lower ones "seem reasonable." (LifeSurge skips discounts--they just demand $45,000 "without apology!")
10. Identity Appeal -- You're not just buying a course--you're "becoming a Kingdom entrepreneur" or "real estate investor."
The disclaimer says explicitly, "most people make no money." But they know most attendees will dismiss that warning like software disclaimers. If you are already a hard-core salesperson, perhaps you can succeed using their system. But let's be honest: if you aren't already thriving with your gifts, will giving them $25K-$45K truly change that? Or are you being seduced by wolves in sheep's clothing (Matt. 7:15)? They even arrange financing--pay them up front, then let a finance company lend you the money back. Jesus warned: "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be wise as serpents and innocent as doves" (Matt. 10:16).
My heart broke as multiple attendees publicly confessed family members were begging them not to spend so much. One said, "I'm in a text fight with my dad right now." Others admitted they didn't want to tell anyone what they had done (fallacy #5). Buying into "Christian" real estate training for $45,000 is hard to explain without shame. To counter this, speakers repeatedly dismissed loved ones as "naysayers who don't pay your bills." That's not discipleship--it's manipulation. God does not call us to ignore wise counsel, silence our conscience, or disobey His Word just to follow greedy wolves (Prov. 1:23-33).
I have lost respect for the famous Christian speakers selling their platforms to this system for $100-200K honorariums only to lead God's people into being fleeced. Scripture warns us: "From the least of them to the greatest, everyone is greedy for unjust gain" (Jer. 6:13). "Like a partridge that gathers a brood she did not hatch, so is he who gets riches but not by justice" (Jer. 17:11). "One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth… will only come to poverty" (Prov. 22:16). Paul rebukes those who "peddle the word of God for profit" (2 Cor. 2:17).
Do not be deceived. Jesus warned, "Many will come in my name… and will lead many astray" (Mark 13:6; Luke 21:8). If you are in Christ, seek faithfulness by faith, obedience, hard work, generosity, and trust the Lord to provide--not manipulative schemes wrapped in Kingdom branding. Don't be fleeced in Jesus name!

Hi, we’re sorry to know the heart of Life Surge offends you, we recognize not every believer will agree with what the Lord has called us to succeed. However, we do want to address your statement. Life Surge is a Christian company, built firmly on the Word of God. We believe every verse in the Bible works together to specifically make one thing very clear, that Jesus Christ died for you and for every staff member, speaker, and instructor at Life Surge. We believe that his Word in context creates a roadmap on how to get to Him and in the process bless others who are in need. This is something we do not take lightly and stand boldly for Christ in every situation we can.
We would also like to offer clarity on who Life Surge is. Life Surge is our signature event created to inspire and empower people from all walks of life, both Christ followers and those from different backgrounds, to make a meaningful difference in their communities. At the heart of our company is the belief that with faith in the Lord, along with determination, patience, and a willingness to learn, greater possibilities can be achieved.
As you stated in your post, we do have a disclaimer. This simply states that outcomes are up to the attendee, we provide opportunities, materials and tools to help find success.
Additionally, Life Surge is very clear on our website under the “About” section that we “offer additional products and services”. Every package offered is entirely optional and left to the discretion of the attendee to decide what package, if any, works best for them. We highly encourage all attendees to follow the conviction of the Holy Spirit when making this decision.
We’re glad to have had the opportunity to clarify our heart and who we are and genuinely wish you a blessed day, please feel free to review some of the verses the Life Surge foundation is built upon. Proverbs 13:22, Proverbs 27:23-27, 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12, and Luke 19:17, as well as 2 Corinthians 10:5.

I went to this conference expecting to…
I went to this conference expecting to learn about biblical principles for all areas of my life but what this conference is about them selling classes and software to buy and sell on the stock market it’s really sad they use Jesus to do it. If you’re expecting a Christian conference you will be disappointed. If you’re wanting to listen to a sella pitch then this is for you. I know their response will say they can’t verify that I attended the conference and I have a receipt from buying the tickets.

Hi Josh, thank you for sharing your perspective. Life Surge makes it clear on our website under the “About” section that we offer additional products and services. Each offering is optional and left to the attendee’s discretion to decide what, if any, they choose to purchase. We understand not every believer may agree with our mission. Life Surge is a Christian company rooted in the Word of God, committed to proclaiming that Jesus Christ died for all and using His Word as a guide to honor Him and serve others. We take this responsibility seriously in all we do. If you would like, we encourage reviewing a few verses that guide Life Surge: Proverbs 13:22, Proverbs 27:23-27, 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12, Luke 19:17, and 2 Corinthians 10:5. We wish you a blessed day.

I am so disappointed with Life Surge in…
I am so disappointed with Life Surge in Grand Rapids.
(1) The Host asked the audience to not record the event.
(2) All money oriented on how to make wealth and glorify God.
(3) The bait and spin is to pay for their wealth building classes.
I was shocked to to Nick Vujicic at part of this. I understand that we need to work hard to survive, and Nick's story on the stock market and real estate is an amazing testimony, but he only spoke of this topic for a few minutes and spoke of his testimony and biblical message. After Nick it was all about wealth.
(4) No Alter Call.
(5) No Salvation Message.
The speakers are all celebrities that are being paid for their public speaking.
The praise music and Nick was the only thing I liked.
(Nick looked a bit tired and winded. He's promoting his movie for next year. His speech seemed routine. Still... it was my first time seeing Nick.)
Wow, I made a huge mistake.

Hi Erik. Thank you for sharing your perspective. As we outlined on our website and social media, Life Surge is a Christian education company focused on equipping believers to grow in wisdom, walk in purpose, and multiply their Kingdom impact. We offer a variety of optional resources designed to support both our live event attendees and students on their personal and professional journeys. Like many other events, it is against our policy to record, and this standard applies across all of our gatherings and classes.
The heart of Life Surge rests on the unshakable truth of God’s Word, and we are blessed to witness multitudes at each event say “yes” to the Lord. At our recent Grand Rapids event, we were honored to witness more than a thousand decisions for Christ. Although Life Surge is not a church, we are passionate about equipping individuals to live out their faith in practical ways and to make a meaningful Kingdom impact in their communities. While we recognize not everyone shares our perspective, we remain committed to the belief that faith can play a vital role in all aspects of life, including financial stewardship.

Bait and switch infomercial
Bait and switch tactics used to make participants think they are attending a day-long inspirational Christian event that can bring you closer to God's will for your professional life. Instead it was a day long infomercial for programs that initially cost $97 but soon after, thousands to learn more because "sometimes you have to go in debt and take chances when following God's will." I was saddened as there were many respected Christian personalities and leaders who used their positions to exploit the audience into signing up for future get-rich opportunities. I've lost respect for many but I know whose getting richer quickly. Emphasis was supposedly on Jesus' love for us and about 3 speakers kept that focus. Still, acquiring riches seemed the ultimate message for most. I'm a teacher, was a missionary for 20 years, and had to self talk quite a bit today after hours of shaming for not making enough money so I can give it away to the poor or my kids. I'm His instrument and Satan used this conference and my paycheck to paycheck status to discourage me today. But I'm back and know God uses me. I do not have to be rich for Him to say, "well done, good and faithful servant". Stay away from Life Surge.

Hi Colleen, we appreciate your perspective and are happy to address your complaint. Life Surge is a Christian education company dedicated to making God known in the workplace and equipping individuals to maximize their Kingdom impact. Our main event is designed to inspire attendees to live out their faith boldly, particularly within their communities and professional lives. In addition to the main event, we offer optional Impact Classes that provide further training and development for those who choose to invest in them. As clearly stated on our website and social media platforms, these “additional products and services” are entirely optional and not required to benefit from or attend the Life Surge main event. Life Surge believes that financial stewardship is an important aspect of a Christ-centered life. We view wealth as a tool that enables believers to serve others and fulfill the responsibilities we are called to as followers of Christ. While we recognize that not everyone may share this perspective, we remain committed to the belief that faith can and should influence all areas of life, including finances. We invite you to explore the Scriptures that shape and support our vision: Proverbs 13:22, 1 Thessalonians 4:11–12, Luke 19:17, Proverbs 27:23–26, and 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV). Have a blessed day.

Exploitation of Christians.
The one day event in Philly was blasphemous. I felt sick watching the manipulation of Christians which began before we arrived. This I know is my perspective (as they will reply) and I am including many facts that back up my claim. Life Surge owner and executives have methodically modeled themselves after the many well known nonprofit events meant to bring people to Jesus like promise keepers or others.. Yet they aren’t a non-profit, a fact that is not in the materials they use to lure Christian’s to their event. AND their goal does not seem to be worshipping or celebrating Jesus.
Life Surge is a for profit buisness run to make money on vulnerable people. They trick people into attending by being vague on their purpose and promoting big name Christians. This time football played and others. A deceptive buisness trick called “bait and switch”
The format of a Christian speaker series gives the presentation of gatherings that Christians know well. Christian-eze and biblical truth and intertwined with high pressure sales pitches and speakers making anything but Christian comments and behavior.
The manipulation begins before you even arrive.
Life Surge sends Facebook adds. The ad does not mention that the event is a sales event. They headline big name Christian’s.
Prior to the day guests receive a text telling them the biggest name for the day ( Sequan Barkley ) will speak at 9am. This assures people will be there on time.
No other itinerary is given. This leaves the audience in complete dependence of the presenters. You know big name Christian speakers are coming but you do not know when. Itinerary as well as I can remember: Worship by well known Bethyl Music comes on first to create a sense of safety and emotional euphoria. They are only seen once, not typical of a Christian event.
Next we meet Tim Beggy who described himself as a pastor and old road rules member. He seems very commercial for a pastor but “do not judge”.
He interviews Sequan and forgets multiple times in the interview that Sequan is a very new Christian (3 months).
Tim Beggy introduces The Benham brothers- introduce the idea that people will hate you if you speak. A biblical message that talks about how people came against Jesus. This theme comes up with multiple speakers and ALL of the sales pitches that lie ahead. It’s likely there ti prepare people for the online reviews they will read that tell them this buisness is scamming them. They tell a hardship story of not knowing how to pay their bills and care for their family (emotional manipulation). They also Talk about passive income, introduce the idea of the stock market, pitch their book and how sometimes you will fail before you win. They also talk about the government badly stating the “current dodge is giving us an enema, they are really cleaning us out”. Not Christian language.
Nick Vujicic is next he talks about how important the stock market is and how it has brought him freedom and financial security. How it helped him take his entire family on vacation and how it helped him fulfill his father’s dreams for him since he didn’t have money. His tan is from an amazing vacation he took his whole family on (emotional manipulation).
Steven Champa surprising sales pitch specifically for their product. Also starts with his hardship, his low gpa used to appeal to uneducated people and how being invited into the church changed his life. He shows he and his family on an Italian vacation where she says going to church changed their whole life. Quickly switches to talk about not being dependent (a theme already introduced and scare tactics of the bad economy coming) on anyone. And how their program that they are selling will help you. It’s shocking…what thing your selling?
At this point you know something is off. Surprise Sales pitches do not happen at Christian speaker events.
He ends with a high pressure sales offer for 97.00 to almost 4,000 people (do the math) that can only be bought that day.
A lot of hired people in all black clothes (already in a black room) set up tables all around the Wells Fargo Center with clip boards to take your money. Many people quickly stand and do as they are told. A later speaker states (don’t be sheep, interesting how the speaker is encouraging people to blindly follow them in dependence of this product rather than being dependent on the government)
Taking a quick break from the very dark(almost black) arena where you’re feeling confused as to what is happening. We go to get a drink. There are only two places open for almost 4000 people to buy food or drinks in the first 3 hours. The lines are 45 min long. A person working lets you know that she is equally confused by what’s happening but that lunch is given in our seats in 30 min.
I am out of space here…there is so much more.
We were there to hear speakers!?😳

We appreciate you sharing your personal perspective on the Life Surge event and would be more than happy to address your complaints. Please note, with the information provided we were unable to locate any record of your attendance with us and have requested more information to better understand the nature of your confusion with the Life Surge event.
That said, Life Surge is promoted as a Christian education company with the desire of making God known in the workplace. As stated and delivered, Life Surge offers a set list of speakers who not only share their life stories but in addition introduce the idea that Christ should be at the center of every aspect of life including finances.
Additionally, as clearly stated on our website and social media platforms, we 'offer additional products and services' to attendees and students, which they may choose to purchase if they feel led to do so. At Life Surge, we believe in not just inspiring our attendees but also equipping them for success. To that end, we offer optional classes aimed at helping our students understand biblical wealth and learn how to cultivate their income effectively.
Life Surge believes in being the hands and feet of Jesus by equipping others with resources, but to do that, we must first be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us by the Lord, serving others and not being held back by a position of lack. Although we understand Life Surge isn’t for everyone, we stand boldly behind the products and services we offer to our attendees and students along with our strong biblical stance. To remove any confusion on Life Surge’s Christian origin please note Life Surge has had the privilege of seeing 10,834 decisions for Christ; this includes salvations and rededications, within 2025 alone so far.
Please feel free to reach out to us if you would like more information as to what Life Surge is at (833) 867-8743 or [email protected]. We invite you to explore a few of the Bible verses Life Surge stands on: Proverbs 13:22, Proverbs 27:23-27, 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12, Luke 19:17, and 2 Corinthians 10:5. Once again, we appreciate your perspective, have a blessed day.
