Our goldendoodle has been going through her food more quickly than usual this month. I checked our next auto ship date and knew we would be out before hand so I requested an earlier shipping date and it arrived within a few days.

I ordered a large bag of the puppy…
I ordered a large bag of the puppy food. Which I have been doing for the last eight months that I have had my dog. I noticed that the food was dark brown as opposed to light brown. The puppy food was light brown, and the adult food was dark brown as I had a small bag of it from the breeder. I thought maybe you just change the color of the food. So I fed my dog the normal food from the bag. He was up all night with diarrhea, and I realized that I just gave him two full meals of a different food without adjusting it to his digestive system. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear your puppy is feeling unwell. The reason behind the occasionally different look is likely due to ingredient variations that can occur from batch to batch. Most commercial brands use additives to make each batch look and smell exactly the same. They do this because, just as with the foods we eat, recipes do not always yield a uniform result. Part of our commitment to you and your dog is to never add unnecessary ingredients for aesthetic reasons, like the appearance of the food. Typically however, this variation does not cause any GI disturbance. After looking at your account, we see our Customer Care team has issued a refund for this bag of food. We hope that your pup lives a long, happy and healthy life by your side!

The package of dog food had two…
The package of dog food had two different sizes. One small size( the size I need) and one size larger. What is abundance going to do about it?

Thank you for your review. After looking at your account, a replacement bag is already on its way. In addition, we wanted to let you know that each batch of food is tested and must pass our quality control standards. Kibble size will vary, and because we do not include additives to make each batch look and smell exactly the same, we do expect some variation. However, if you feel that the difference in size was excessive, we would appreciate it if you could also send pictures to us at [email protected].
