Great company, great customer service, but it is obvious there is product bias. With two big players in smartphones - Apple and Samsung, you would think both lines of cases would be amazing and timely in there releases. The Apple series of cases is often ready before launch, numerous design/color choices and a pretty secure fit. Samsung on the otherhand gets an ill-fitting, unresponsive case for its Galaxy S lines. The NEXT cases fit well, but preference seems to given to the Apple devices and that's unfortunate.

I’ve had my iPhone 7 fre lifeproof case for 4 months and it’s already falling apart. The silencing switch came off a month ago and the frame by the charging port has actually SNAPPED. I’m not even hard on my case I barely drop it or do anything detrimental to it so why is it falling apart?? The plastic protector for the camera has actually fallen out aswell. This case is not worth the $130 I payed for it. It’s my 3rd lifeproof in 1 1/2 years. Not impressed what so ever!

Only two stars because within a year you can claim a warranty on this product. Bought for iPhone 6 originally. Was great for just under a year and the waterproof seals broke and were not performing. Also the screen got scratched up from swimming with it in fresh water. Got a second case under warranty and it has been terrible. Rubber band in the center of the case never sat in the channels. And the rubber sponge for the charging port fell out after 6 months of use. If I drop it it marks up easily. My silent / ringer rocker has just snapped off. As I got home last night the rubber banding on the front of the case has began to come away. And rip. Not impressed. Completely defeats the purpose of the product. I shouldn’t need a new one within each year. Or just over!

I purchased a case off eBay- took a huge risk- I believe it is a legit phone but I called lifeproof to see if they could run a serial number check and basically got told no and to look at their website for tips. I got their number from the website because that section told me if I had questions to give them a call. Lazy.

Got the grey and black case for my S8 at a telstra shop. Got it home and realised the volume button didn't work - wasn't too worried as i figured it'd be fixed with a replacement and the screen cover was awesome.. like using the phone unprotected. Took it back and opened case number 2 in the store.. same issue & the manger said it was clearly a "bad batch". Went to another store and got the pink and blue cover, buttons worked fine - got to my car and realised the screen protection made the phone unresponsive to swiping and texting it was so ill fitted. Took it back. Put another case on, screen was 70% better but i didn't like the colour. Replaced it with another pink one - same issue! The pleasure of a new phone and its responsiveness and ease of use all out the window because of clearly inconsistent and faulty manufacturing/quality control. I'd expect to pay 30$ on e-bay for it, not $85-129 depending on store.

I am on case number 3.... the power buttons go bad after 3 months. Really good case besides that but it has to be a mfg defect. Stay away !

Lifeproof S8+ My lifeproof was incredibly good for the first 3 months then I started having troubles pressing the buttons on the side. Now I cannot press the button on the side, the phone's fine but the case is definitely not. It makes this particular phone a pain in the backside to use because it means that I cannot unlock the phone easily in order to use!!!

I'm on my FOURTH case for my samsung galaxy s8+ and the buttons stop working after a few weeks or so. The rubber inside of them gives out and just pushes to the side. I don't even use my bixby button but I accidentally pushed it the other day and lo and behold, it wouldn't "work" because the rubber button doesn't work. This is a serious flaw, considering turning the volume up and down is necessary.
