There is no way to return this item if it goes wrong outside of the US. I have tried every avenue to return mine. DO NOT BUY. The 'lifeproof' simply does not stand up. The cover broke on mine. Very flimsy.

Bought the I Phone & Frepower WATERPROOF case at the Verizon store & was told that the $129 case is so awesome that if the phone get water damaged that Lifeproof replaces the case & the phone. The case was great for pics at the pool with the grand kids for 5 months, low and behold the case leaked & then the hell began. They claim to be open 24/7 until you try to call back after 7:30 & no one answers for 48 minutes. Legitimately took 20 days to get a refurbished I Phone & new case, but wait my black phone and case is replaced with a white phone & baby blue case. A 15 year old girl might be excited but not this 52 year old man. So lets some this up: They warranty the phone but with a refurbished one that isn't the same color and a case that 55% of adults wouldn't use. Boy oh boy that's a warranty I'll get behind NOT!!!! I will go to my grave before I spend another cent on a lifeproof product..

I purchased the Lifeproof case for my new IPhone 5S for more than $80, specifcally to protect my phone against water damage. I owned it for less than a week and accidentally jumped into a pool with phone in my pocket. My initial reaction was relief that I had the phone in the case, having had diligently followed directions to install phone in case. As I pulled the phone out of my pocket I realized water intruded and my phone was fried. I called life proof support in order to begin a claim and to my shock and frustration was informed that after I followed their burdensome and time-consuming process they would happily send me a replacement case. Why would I want another case that boasts fraudulent claims to protect my phone... The same phone that no longer needs protection because it's toast. The explanation was that due to the fact that they do not own the 'intellectual property'of the product they cannot replace it . What???!! When I asked, that instead of them sending me a new phone to relplace the original, they send me a check to purchase a new one, I was told 'that is not their policy'. PLEASE, save your money and heed this and the other reviews that describe similar experiences. It's unfortunate that a company can exist in today's competitive environment where quality is king, especially for a product who's price point exceeds nearly all similar products.

I purchased two different life proof phone cases for my iPhone 6s Plus. Many things broke including the charging port protector, things wore out like the grip on the edges, & they only last 5-6 months without needing to be replaced. I would not spend the money to get one!!!

Bought Lifeproof case for my iPhone 6s. Lifeproof claims that this case protects a device even if dropped from 2 meters. That is untrue, I dropped my phone from 1 foot and my screen cracked. I spent over 80 dollars on this case and had to then spend another 140 to repair my phone plus another 40 to buy an otterbox case which is more effective in protecting a device. When I called Lifeproof to report this to them they told me that they could not help me because the device was not there product even though their product was sold to "protect" my device. What they claim about their product is a scam. Do not waste your time or money on this ineffective piece of crap.

For such a large company, the customer service is complete garbage. My phone (of less than 90 days) got water damaged in their case. Requested a new phone under warranty claim. They sent me a refurbished phone instead that's defective and can't even be activated. Apparently they "only ship what's in the warehouse," and refuse to ship a new device. Unbelievable.

Never submerged in water. Took the "waterproof" phone with us to rappel a waterfall. Phone no longer works due to water damage. Lifeproof warrantee does not cover replacement of the phone. So how can they have a warantee or even say that it's waterproof if they won't stand behind it??? Fraudulent!!

1. phone case didn't protect from water damage and now my phone is completely broken 2. life proof customer service said they can't help pay for my new phone 3. customer service also said that sometimes the case won't work after external damage (even though it's supposed to be life proof) 4. they offered me a new phone CASE if I go through the warranty claim but why would I want another garbage phone case 5. paid over 100$ for the case and now I need to pay another 500$ to replace my phone that's broken thanks to the case !
