Soundproof rather than lifeproof
Soundproof rather than lifeproof. I purchased a lifeproof fre for my iPhone 8. It’s unusable because it blocks the sound and callers cannot hear me. Don’t waste you money on one.

I bought my 8 S lifeproof case in JANUARY. It's broken in 2 places already and they are charging me over 6 to ship me another one in 10 days . That is unacceptable that I have to wait 10 days for a phone cover to be sent . I paid 90 for my lifeproof phone cover . I will be buying only otterboxes from now on . These lifeproof cases should last the life of the phone NOT 8 months . Do not WASTE your money on these cases ......🤑😫

I have the life proof clear case for the iPhone 8 Plus! I only had the case for a couple of months and I’m already on my 3rd case because of the rubber around the sides keep coming off! $70 for this! Then I order another one, and the same thing keeps happening! The quality sucks

Lifeproof Cases are JUNK! We bought 2 Galaxy S8+ phones in November 2017 (Black Friday deal) and put new Lifeproof cases on them (at a cost of just over $80 each). By June - 2018 both cases were ruined. My phone lost all control of volume and the buttons actually started pealing off because the rubber dried out. My wife's phone did the same thing on the power button and you have to wait for it to time out because the power button isn't operable. Both of the screen protectors (plastic) are so milky its hard to see the phone. By now, the end of July 2018, my phone case is literally falling apart. The rubber is so dry around the volume buttons it is now coming off in chunks. I contacted Lifeproof's warranty department via the internet. It was far less than a year so they should be covered under warranty. However, it still takes $5.99 in shipping to receive new cases! IF... IF they even send them at all. I paid the $5.99 and now the waiting begins. Never again Lifeproof. I am 100% going back to the Otterbox after this.

I've used lifeproof cases for Years. I always thought a $90 case was a good investment.Although I've replaced, probably 7-8 cases, myself while under warranty. I though it was worthwhile. I never contacted them. I thought they were good, until I actually had it put it to the test. I just bought a new iPhone and my 40 lb daughter somehow shattered my screen while sitting on my couch. Less then 3 feet onto the carpet . I'm livid. This is the only time any one of my phones has even been dropped. It makes me think it never actually protected my phone.

TERRIBLE customer service from one of workers on TWPP team. I only know her first name, and her name is Michelle. I called because my phone had received water damage over the weekend due to product failure. (Mind you, the case that received water damage and ruined my phone was a REPLACEMENT case for my originally case that broke within 7 months of buying it). Anyway, I was calling about the TWPP plan since I had not originally signed up for it (this plan supposedly covers any damages your phone incurs if the product fails - like water damage) and wondered if there was any other way I could be reimburse. Not evenly fully reimburse but I wanted to talk options - I figure doesn't hurt to ask. Right off the bat, Michelle is talking over me once she hears I didn't sign up for the TWPP, when I am trying to explain my situation. She never apologized for the product failure or the fact that she couldn't help me and then hung up on me in a rude manner saying "bye" with sass while I was taking the time to ask another question. Thanks to Michelle and the failure of the product, Lifeproof has certainly lost my business as well as the business from my friends and family as I have already told them DO NOT TRUST LIFEPROOF CASES. The reviews above are accurate. They only have a year warranty for a reason...

The Galaxy s8 version is horrible. There's a huge gap between the case and my screen. It sucks so bad to press my screen all the time. Also the case is so bloody dusty I get dust specks inside my phone all the time. This problem has been occuring ever since Galaxy s7 models. Looks like I'm switching to otterbox the next time and you all should.
