Completely trusted my new iPhone XS Max to LifeProof Fre which was purchased in March of 2019. I began having a cloudy picture, so I opened up the case, which is something that I never do, and the back side was completely cracked. It has spread everywhere. Shocked and very disappointed by this.

I will say, the water proof lifeproof case is awesome, however the basic life proof case... I have had it for a few months, at first is proved pretty durable. Unfortunately as time went on, the rubber surrounding the plastic has been stretching something fierce! 80% of my rubber has stretched so badly, I had to cut it off. It started on the inside, and gradually started peeling away from the outside. As of now, I only have the volume buttons and plug in ports protected. It's very aggravating. I would go back to Verizon to pick up a new case, however I really don't see the point. Its proven to be inferior to it's big brother, the water proof case. Which I rate 5 stars for sure! Sadly this case is truly inferior in every way.

Only problem I have with my life proof case is most times I try to activate my speaker during a call and it won’t register through the case. It does everywhere else except where the speaker icon is at. I thought maybe the screen or inside of clear case had something on it and was causing it to stick so I cleaned them but that didn’t help out. Other than that, I have no complaints even though it’s frustrating ripping the case off during a call just to put someone on speaker.

Og det er rigtig surt, hele tiden at skulle have telefonen ud af coveret for at anvende hovedtelefoner. Så er pointen med at købe coveret ligesom væk. Efter ca 3-4 måneder begynder gummikanten på fronten at løsne sig, og vandtætheden er en saga blot. Dernæst begynder det hele mere eller mindre at skille ad. Jeg har været dum nok til at købe 3 covere, fordi jeg håbede, at der ville ske forbedringer, og fordi vandtætte covere med adaptore er svære at finde. Alle 3 covere har lidt ovenstående skæbne. Utrolig dårligt produkt til prisen!

Poor materials; poor design. While this case has protected my phone when I have dropped it, the case itself is horrible. While the twist thing to protect the headphone jack allows me to easily access the jack, it is too small to connect headphones without the special cable that is easily lost. The door to open the cover for the charging port was hard to open, so it was no surprise that it broke within 2 months. I contacted LifeProof and they sent me another case. The same piece broke within a month. This means that it is no longer waterproof. I continued to use the case, because I do drop my phone. Unfortunately, the rubber on the outside of the case quickly disintegrated, including the buttons on the side. No more volume buttons; no more power buttons. I understand why otterbox and lifeproof limited their "lifetime" warranty to one year. Because their products do not last.

Absolutely nothing has been done to this phone yet and the screen protector on a LifeProof FRE for my Galaxy S9 Plus has a rip or crack. This is by far the cheapest product you people have ever made there's no rubberized grip texture to it so easily slips out of hand. And there is absolutely no reason you people need to be competing with OtterBox by offering different levels of protection when you guys are known for having the airtight or watertight LIFE PROOF CASES. Do not split your product if you want to expand; expand on phone makes do not offer less than superior quality which LifeProof was known for in exchange for a few morons paying quick dollar for a subpar product.

I have always lovedddddd the Lifeproof cases! When I got my 7plus I got it and it was great. I then switched to the iPhone XS Max and the case seal wasn’t fully functioning and I had only put it on once. It’s not like I was playing with it taking it off and on and every time I call about getting a new one I never get a real Answer they just say sorry. These cases are normally really good but I’m not happy with the customer service because the cases are very expensive especially for it to be pretty much broke as soon as you get it!

Very expensive cases, but fall apart way too easy. I’ve been a LifeProof customer for about 5 years, I always think the next case will be better, but it never is. I have the new IPhone X case, and I’ve had to replace my case once already, and it needs to be replaced yet again. And while although I have insurance on the case and can just get a new one, I don’t really have time to do that every couple of months. (Adhesive glue breakage, rubber siding coming off) Will definitely look into something in higher quality for a good price.
