Purchased the prime plan for my Jaguar XK 2012. They refused to repair the ac compressor even though it was covered. There were some pipes and hoses that needed repairing also as the jag has several bifurcating hoses called pipes major design flaw. These repairs were also denied even after giving the dealer my policy and told that the repairs should be covered. Initially they claim pre existing conditions but I had the policy for over two months. I spoke to the manger John and he simply said he was not going to cover the repairs. After this I decided to carefully read the policy in it's entirety only to find that it completely contradicts itself. I'm so disappointed with auto warranty companies; they are all worthless.

Hi I just want to give a warning to anyone that has a BMW and buy this warranty. listen here please do not purchase this warranty these people know that certain BMWs they do not rebuild the engines. When an engine goes bad they just swap it out. What these people do to keep from paying to get your car fixed is they will make you authorize the mechanic to tear down the engine in order to prove what component fell in the engine. the teardown of the engine 9 times out of 10 specially if you at a dealership cost more than the replacement of the engine. and they do not pay for the teardown. they will sell you this warranty knowing when you have an engine problem you will not be able to use it because no one is going to pay more to tear down the existing engine then you would to just pay to replace the engine altogether. If a company makes you authorize your mechanic to tear the engine down to prove what went wrong in the engine then they should pay for it once they find out that it is covered. but that's not the case here they want you to pay for the teardown regardless if it's covered or not. This does not make any sense. Maybe if you have a engine that is re-billable you probably will be fine. but why sell this warranty to someone that has an engine that's not re-billable and then tell them over the phone when they put in a claim. In your case this is unfortunate we're just going by guidelines and protocols after they receive your money. Can you imagine the stress and headache that a person go through to hear something like that after they trusted a company. But they did offer me what I paid into it back. They made an exception after 30 days which is in the contract they don't do they made an exception to pay me back which I gladly excepted because there's nothing I can do with the warranty is totally useless. but they couldn't make an exception and fix the car knowing that the teardown cost more than the replace the engine. At Long Beach BMW of signal Hill California They have new technology these days where they have borescope cameras that can see exactly what's wrong with the engine without a teardown I had just had a valve stem job done so that was ruled out as a potential problem why the car was burning oil shaking. Anyone with common sense knows exactly what they did here they bent the rules to send me back my money that I haven't received yet but they couldn't bend the rules and fix the engine knowing the loophole they have and what they're doing to people but God is good all the time let's see how long the company be around
