No concern for consumers. Fail to provide me with my file copy
I tried to contact Lexis Nexus and get a copy of my data from them. No matter what documents I supply to them they rejected my request. I sent them my passport my driver's license a bank statement a notary ID a pistol permit with a photo and my social security card from 50 years ago. They simply sent back the same standard letter saying bye ID couldn't be authenticated. They totally work for the insurance and credit industry and don't give a crap about the consumer. Also of course they are violating federal law by not providing me with my file data.
Update: After I complained and threatened them, they sent me instructions on how to get my report/file data online. Case#/Password, etc. FAILED to work. Called them, they couldn't get it to work (after grilling me on my ID for 10 minutes). Said they would MAIL me a paper copy.

Avoid at all costs and sign up at your peril
After an extensive period of use, I regret to inform that my experience with this company has been overwhelmingly negative, to the point where I feel compelled to advise potential customers to reconsider before engaging their services. Despite their promising initial sign-up process, the reality of the service provided fell significantly short of expectations, particularly for immigration practitioners and micro-to-medium law firms. Below are the specific issues we encountered:
Misleading Sign-Up and Renewal Process: The company advertises a flexible "try and see" service, which appears easy to cancel if found not useful. However, the reality is starkly different. The renewal process is neither transparent nor straightforward, often resulting in unsuspected renewals at inflated prices.
Content and Utility: A large portion of the content offered is readily available online for free. The unique content that is touted as being exclusive and valuable is often outdated or not updated promptly, diminishing its usefulness.
Access Issues: The minimal content that could be considered useful is difficult to locate through their own search tools, and strangely, more accessible through external search engines. However, direct navigation from such external sources leads to unrelated pages, making it virtually impossible to access the intended resources.
Business Practices Concerns: It has become apparent that the company’s practices are designed to lock law firms into a cycle of renewal, exploiting those with limited budgets. Notifications for subscription renewals are timed in such a manner that cancellation is impossible, often leaving firms trapped into paying for another year of underwhelming service.
Lack of Support for Resolutions: Attempts to address and resolve issues related to service quality or renewal concerns have been met with a lack of interest from the company. The stance taken has been one of enforcing renewal fees under threat of legal action, rather than engaging in constructive dialogue to address customer dissatisfaction.
Cancellation and Renewal Notification: The company's policy on cancellation and renewal notifications is both unclear and inconsistently applied. Despite assurances of a certain cancellation notice period, the actual practice seems designed to preclude timely cancellation, trapping firms into unwanted renewals.
It's my hope that this feedback not only serves as a caution . The experience has been frustrating, marked by a lack of transparency and support, leading me to advise others to carefully consider before committing to their service.

The service is not useful to me or my organization. The service is poor. Sadly, the problem gets worse if you call customer service, because all they can do is send you to your Representative who is the WORST. I believe they don't have a customer satisfaction clause because I don't believe they can satisfy anyone with the support they provide. I blame myself listening to perfumed words. Do not sign the contract.

They incorrectly report an accident as being an at fault and the customer had to pay increased premiums for over 2 years. although this was brought to their attention, they have chosen to do nothing about it. They should be held responsible.

Incompetent and Untrustworthy Reporting System
These people had 2 documented accidents on my juvenile 16 y/o daughter's driving record 3 years prior to getting her driver's license. She wasn't even driving yet. This error cost me an extra $1500/year in extra premium
Despite requesting correction of this erroneous and fictious report they were unable to carry out the correction even after giving them all the necessary documents. They were completely unresponsive, impossible to get a hold of, and a poorly communicative organization by email and telephone. They will put you on hold forever then hang up on you. Progressive Insurance should drop these people as a reporting service. They have no customer service and are flat out incompetent.

They are a complete fraud and are a…
They are a complete fraud and are a waste of your time.
I have tried to dispute a matter with LexisNexis and they are totally incompetent to help in the matter. After attempting three or four times to send them the documents they said they needed to verify my identity and receiving a letter back saying they could not verify my identity, I called to ask what was wrong with the documents they requested. They "took another look" and now found the documents to be correct. The lady on the phone said she could not help me, so she said she would transfer me to another department who could, but after one ring the phone sat silent and no one ever answered the phone.
Every time I call customer support for help I talk to what sounds like the same lady, but every time she gives me a different name. She will not give me her employee number (but won't tell me why she will not provide it) and she will not allow me to talk to a manager.
Every time I contact them, I reference the previous case number that they have given me, but they give me a new case number every single time which makes me thing they are trying to add confusion and chaos.
They never provide any actual answers. They just take all my sensitive data (driver's license info, address, phone number, SSN, etc.) and say they are unable to help me. I feel like they are stealing my ID and selling it on the darkweb to be honest.
They literally have the worst customer support that I have ever used in my life. They are complete fraud and a waste of your time.
