Level up is a Scam DO NOT USE
Level up is a Scam DO NOT USE In December applied for a personal loan for $1,475. When receiving full amount it Was unclear on the interest amount. The lady helping me out made it sound like I would have bi weekly payments of $387.11 and would have until august to pay it off. I never would have proceeded if it was clear that I would have 18 payments for 635% apr for the loan!!!! The worst part the documents were non accessible as it just stated error when trying to view Loan agreement and as loan application was performed online. Reached out via email, requesting what the interest rate is as the loan documents were not accessible on the date of February 28th 12 payments $387.11 every two weeks as December 22nd 2023 totaling $4,645.32 still being told I owe $1,410. 80. I got in touch with my bank, to be able to get all future charges blocked from being withdrawn. I called level up and was able to speak with the supervisor, Darnell. Asked him to explain what the interest rate was since that was never once disclosed to me, he then stated that it was, on the day my loan was approved over the phone with one of the customer service associates he said that the interest rate was 635% I let him know it was never disclosed to me or else I would not have followed through with the process of getting $1475. He was able to listen to the recording of the phone call from back in December and even stated that the person that called me DID NOT tell me what the interest rate was and I even called him out on that and he completely ignored that fact. Told him Level up will not be getting anymore of my money and that they’re blocked from trying to charge my account. Darnell kept saying that instead of paying the $1,410.80 that could “help me out” by paying a lesser amount even had the audacity to ask me for my debit card info when I told him that they’re not getting anymore of my money. He still kept saying he could “help me out” and asked for payment info. I finally hung up because it was very frustrating to be ignored and totally disregarded when it’s absurdly obvious that no one would want to pay 4.7 times the original amount at $774.22 per month for 8 months!!!
