Communication is not their strong suit.
Let me start off by saying, Halloween is my Christmas. To prepare, I ordered contact lenses on October 7th in preparation for two Halloween Parties, and a photoshoot. At the time I placed the order, I had just gotten paid. I submitted my doctor's prescription along with my credit card information online. According to LensDirect.com, even though I received a confirmation email detailing the order placed, the order was not successful. The only notification of this was my order status on the website (reading "Payment Error"). No email was received, and if I hadn't checked for tracking on the website, I wouldn't have known. I reached out to my rep via phone and email, multiple times to no avail. On the 16, I called and had spoken with another rep to attempt to re-order my lenses. No confirmation email was sent, no record of the order was provided under my online account. After all the emails that were sent to my LensDirect rep (one on October 14th, and two on the 19th) I finally received a reply,1 notifying me that they could pull some strings to get the order to me ASAP, and another notifying me that the order was cancelled all on Friday October 28th (21 days after my initial order). The level of customer service was totally unacceptable. The communication was not there, and I now have to wait another year to try this again with another company.
