I went through all the hoops to get replacement lenses for my prescription sunglasses but LensDirect could not accommodate the request.
On the positive side, my Customer Service Rep, Jade, was a 5. She responded to me quickly. She saw to it that my refund was issued quickly and expedited the return of my frames quickly as well.

Is My Time Worth The Savings??
The wrong prescription was sent in my initial contact lens order. I had to return the incorrect lenses and pay the postage out of my pocket, providing the Tracking Number to LensDirect. They would not mail the correct lenses to me until they received the incorrect ones. The order was paid in full when it was initially placed. My original order was for a 90-day supply. I was sent a 30-day supply of the correct lenses. Again, more time for me to email LensDirect and wait for a response. The remainder of my order is on its way. My original order was placed on May 7. Almost one month later, and they are trying to get it right. Hopefully, the third time will be the charm. Is my time worth the savings??

Hello Wendy! We want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced throughout your recent order. This is not the standard of service we strive to deliver, and we deeply regret the impact it’s had on your time and overall experience.
We understand how disappointing it must have been to receive the incorrect prescription, and we recognize the added frustration of having to return the lenses at your own expense and wait for the exchange process to begin.
Compounding this with the partial shipment of your corrected order only added to the delay, and for that, we are truly sorry. Please rest assured that once we became aware of the issue, we took immediate steps to correct it. The remaining lenses from your original 90-day order are now on their way, and we are committed to seeing this through to full resolution.
Your time is valuable, and we completely understand your frustration. We truly appreciate your patience and the opportunity to make this right. Should you have any further concerns, our team is here and ready to assist you directly.

So much for customer service
I sent two pairs of glasses in for new lenses. One pair came back within 2 weeks, the other is still not finished. I was told the 2nd pair didn't pass inspection and they were remaking them, but it would likely be another 2 weeks before I get them. All told, it will take a month to get the second pair done. Company offered nothing other than a lame apology.

Hello Andrew! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry for the delay and inconvenience you've experienced with your glasses order. We understand how frustrating it must be to receive one pair promptly while the other is still pending, especially without a clear resolution or meaningful follow-up.
The delay in your second pair was due to our strict quality control process—while this ensures you receive lenses that meet our standards, it shouldn’t come at the expense of timely service or clear communication. We sincerely apologize for falling short on both counts.
We’d like to make this right. Please reach out to us directly at [email protected], and we’ll do everything we can to expedite the remaining order and offer you a suitable resolution for the delay.
Thank you for your patience, and again, we're very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Damaged my frames
Damaged my frames, making me ship them back and "evaluate" them. I am just sticking up with it because I don't want to be another 2 weeks without a pair of glasses. Pictures apparently aren't enough to show the damages.

A company that Listens
Resolution-Happy to report that LensDirect has listened and we have reached a fair resolution. Thank you LensDirect
I ordered replacement lenses with a prescription for bifocals. Apparently I checked the single lens box so they. Are the reading prescription for the entire glasses.
They had the time to call and upsell but not to ask if I wanted the bifocals.

Buyer beware, wasted money with progressive lenses
I've used LensDirect twice to replace lenses in my own frames. The first thing to note: the process is slow—it takes about a month from start to finish. If you need faster turnaround, GlassesUSA or Zenni might be better options. But unlike those, LensDirect allows you to use your own frames, which is why I chose them.
The first time I ordered distance lenses, and the result was excellent—sharp vision and great fit. Encouraged by that, I sent in my Oakley Valve sunglasses to get progressive lenses using the same prescription. At the same time, I ordered a pair of progressives from Zenni (with the same Rx), which arrived in about 10 days.
When the Oakleys finally arrived from LensDirect, they looked great and fit perfectly—but something was off with the left lens. The right eye was perfect, but the left seemed to have no prescription at all. I double-checked with the Zenni glasses, and the left lens there was spot on. Comparing it side by side with standard sunglasses confirmed my suspicion—LensDirect's left lens had no correction.
I reached out to customer service, and they asked me to send the glasses back. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to wait another month without them. I suggested they just send me a corrected left lens so I could install it myself, but they refused—despite the fact that Oakley Valve lenses only fit one way and it would’ve saved both time and cost.
So, bottom line: great prices and the ability to reuse your frames, but quality control is questionable. While my first order was great, this second one left me with only one functioning lens on my prescription sunglasses. At this point, I might just pop the non-RX lenses back in and call it a loss. You really do get what you pay for.
UPDATE 4/6/25:
After a few more weeks, this lenses are complete garbage. I had to replace them with the non prescription originals. The distortion was quite noticeable. So never again, 2 stars since the single RX was good. But the second trial was a complete waste of money lost. Will get the Zenni sunglasses.

Hello Izzy! Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize for the experience you had with your recent order. We understand how frustrating it can be to deal with a mistake on something as important as your prescription lenses, especially after having a positive experience with your first order.
While we're glad to hear that your initial order met your expectations, we truly regret that the left lens in your Oakley Valve sunglasses didn't have the correct prescription.
We would love to make this right for you. If you're open to it, could you please contact us directly at [email protected] We want to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
We truly value your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to restore your confidence in our service.

Rep down played my concern regarding…
Representative on the phone down played my concern regarding the delay I am experiencing on the current LensDirect order. Although she attempted to expedite the process of receiving a completed order, she failed to explain the reasoning behind the delay. I was notified there was a delay on the 30th of January when I initially placed the order on the 1st January. 30 days without my glasses is very inconvenien. Worst over, I wasn't given an explanation until Feb 4th. That is not good business practice. LensDirect should have discount the transaction for my being inconvenience

Didn’t answer my direct…
Didn’t answer my direct question…several times. Gave me info but not what I was asking for.
I asked specific question: "Can you take the lenses I send in and get the PD from those I send in?'
I got a web page reference of how to measure. I asked my question again. A second response basically said the same.
I asked a third time, same question, directly, and what I got back was I should see the web page.
It's not a big deal, but sheesh. Simple question. The glasses I had were recently measured by a professional.
