Lens were light and felt cheap. Lens scratched within the first day even though they weren't dropped or put in any bags without protection

I ordered three sets of replacement lenses from LensDirect. Set #1 is the everyday set of glasses with progressive lenses that I wear. Set #2 is a backup set of glasses with progressive lenses. Set #3 is a set of Maui Jim sunglasses with progressive lenses. All three sets have the same prescription. Set #3 about two months later after two failed quality checks. After wearing them a few times, I found that they were not correct. My vision blurred when I switched from my everday set to the sunglasses and the lenses were significantly thicker even though both had the upgraded (40% thinner) lenses. Yes, I contacted LensDirect after 30 days and they refuse to address my issues. This is clearly a quality problem on their end and not a prescription change. I'm now stuck with an expensive pair of sunglasses that I cannot wear.

My replacement lenses failed, It took almost two months to recieve my glasses back, I paid 123.20 on 6/7, then upgraded lenses and paid another 40.00 on 7/4. Total paid 163.20. Because my lenses took so long, I was given fast shipping and an additional discount, But I was charged an additional 20.39 instead of a refund. This was returned but I was never refunded for the discount. My total Invoice from Lens Direct was $142.80 . I paid $163.20. Customer service keeps telling me I already recieved a discount but the math does not add up. So far I have not recieved a refund and only grief from customer service.

Jan 3rd 2026 and I’ve been contacted by LensDirect 4 times with the same questions and excuses since my lenses fell out of my frameless glasses 2 times. The only reasons I’ve been contacted on Trust Pilot seem to be to get consumers to believe they correct problems I’ve had with my lenses they pretend not to understand or care about. The worst part of this contacting me is how consumers believe they are claiming to be concerned. They don’t care and Fortunately Trust Pilot allows updated reviews to keep consumers safer. Updating my review 10/22/25 I did contact Lens Direct like I was asked to re- explaining I received 2 pairs of lenses to thick to fit the pair of frames I sent them resulting in the lenses loosening from the the frames and unable to wear them. No answer from Lens Direct. I did re- install the lenses myself after ordering the compression fittings and pliers to re-install frameless lenses to the frames from Amazon. The most irritating part of Lens Direct 2nd replacement order is the second pair of lenses are not the transitions I ordered and they made the less expensive version of transitions photo not the photo X I paid for. The fact they answered my review is nice. The fact they never responded to my problem a 3rd time is what customers should know because I already tried to get a response before my reviews with no answers. 9/22/25 i ordered lenses from Len Direct that were too thick for my frames. My complaint was reviewed and were replaced with the same 1.67 lenses too thick for my frames. The second pair of lenses were photo not photo X the wrong transition darkening order. Ultimately I received 2 pairs of lenses that did not fit my frames fitting wobbly and eventually falling out of the frames.

A return/exchange of two boxes of BioTrue contact lenses, which could have easily been handled (returned via FedEx, boxes were unopened/unmarked/perfect condition as stipulated) has now taken 8 additional and unnecessary email exchanges with 4 different "Customer Happiness" assistants without resolution.

I ordered both lenses to be replaced in my existing frame. The whole procedure from placing the order - sending them my glasses (immediately) and LensDirect finishing the task and mailing the updated glasses back to me (with their "light speed delivery" for which I paid extra) took 20 days to be completed. Although the job was done satisfactory the turn-around time is too excessive for me. I will not order from this company again.

Easy to order but know that these are cheap plastic lenses and will not come close to your Rayban glass lenses.
