After trying to get a $30,000 loan from Prosper and Upgrade both of whom I had paid off loans of over $10,000 they both denied me. But I applied for a $30,000 loan while sitting on my couch on a Sunday afternoon. Filled out the application sent my Rep Nick 2 emails (one with my last 2 years of tax returns because I’m self employed and the other with a copy of my Drivers License). Within 20 minutes I was approved! Tuesday morning the money was in my bank account! Will never go anywhere else for a loan. And while a rate of 7.99% seems high a personal loan at my bank is 10.99%. So unless I wanted to use my home equity to get a lower rate which I don’t they were even reasonably competitive.
