Lems ShoesReviews of lemsshoes.com

Second pair of Lems one for work and one for MTB/Hike (trail slashers pro) and so far could not be happier. Yes they are not cheap but great quality materials, super fast delivery: I am in remote Australia and order directly on the US site, got the shoes in a week! I am actually surprised about most of the reviews and expectations from people: they are a wide toe box shoes with zero drop and almost flat sole. This is the whole point of the brand, if you expect support and snug fit you need to look elsewhere. I have a very flat arch and, while it took a bit to get used to the zero drop, they are a fantastic fit and very comfortable. I am yet to comment on the durability of the MTB shoes but they feel solid with Vibram Megagrip. Very likely to order more (I did need a size up from my usual size though).

I sure wish I would have seen that. They only have a 2.7 star rating before I purchased. I bought a pair of lace up boots that have worked out fine from them, but I bought a pair of slip on the same size and they really hurt my feet. I sent two emails and got no response. I called today and they have no returns and no exchanges no refunds so beware! I won’t be back.

High quality shoes, I got the wrong size but the return process was a breeze. Highly recommend.

Ordered the Outlander hikers in a 12 — the size I've worn in every other brand for years. They crushed my toes badly enough that I walked the last mile of my first hike barefoot. 4 miles total on them. I contacted support ready to spend more money, not less. I offered to buy two pairs in 12.5, including a second pair of Boulder Summits, if they'd work with me on the pair that didn't fit. The answer was no — any sign of wear disqualifies a return — and I was told to sell them myself on Poshmark or Marketplace. I get that a warehouse can't resell used boots. What I don't get is a company with a sizing issue putting the entire cost of that issue on the customer. If your 12 doesn't fit like everyone else's 12, the first hike is when a buyer finds out, and by then the policy says you owe them nothing. That leaves me with $200 of unusable hikers. I was excited to support a Colorado brand. Instead, I've got boots I can't wear and no reason to order again. If you buy from Lems, size up and expect no help if you guess wrong.

The shoes must cost $2-$5 to make. There is no support anywhere in the shoe, no heel stabilizer, no arch and my big toe gets black from the dye in the shoe. For the money, these are totally not worth it. I do like a shoe that allows me to move my feet, but would not buy this one again. There is literally nothing to the shoe.

Speedy shipping, great product, exactly as advertised, extremely comfortable, the first purchase of many! Already spreading the good news to family and friends. So happy to support independent goods!! Thank you, Lems.

Customer services refuses to exchange or refund a pair of 3 month old Men's Primal Zen in May, Night Sky and suggests that I "fix them myself at a shoe shop" - I think this is very bad and once again a barefoot shoe manufacturer who's products are premium price (150 - 250 EUR) is using suboptimal production methods and materials. It's very poor and all to often the case with shoes like this.

The quality of the materials, and comfort of the shoes and the truth in advertising is what made my experience with lem shoes positive. I got a comfortable shoe with quality materials at a competitive price. I bought the boat shoe, and the suede primal zen.
