After paying out $1000.00 in fees to them, they've failed to provide me with legal representation on 2 occasions. They either aren't taking new clients or their intake is so far out that it won't work. I'm assuming this is just a giant scam where the attorneys they hire don't get paid much and try everything to get out of actually doing any work under the plan. Save your money and put a retainer down on a real attorney. They must only have ambulance chasers.

I contacted two attorneys on the approved list, one never returned my messages. The second attorney had his legal aid contact us, but it took them two months to get back to us regarding whether they could add a spouse's name to the property. The answer was no. In addition, they took two months to get back on a simple will and living trust. No thanks! You can save your money as this plan isn't what is promised.

I’ve found this service to be completely ineffective. Every time I try to secure an attorney whether for probate assistance, or small claims court… I’m told they can’t take my case, or I never receive a response at all. Despite paying for this plan, I’ve gotten nothing in return. They’re quick to collect my money but slow (or unwilling) to provide actual help. Unless something changes drastically, I will be canceling my plan at the start of the new year.

MET.LIFE LEGAL PLAN is an absolute scam. This is blatant fraud at its worst. Legal Definition: "The act of deceiving, usually to gain something of value, often money." As a longtime customer of MetLife, I was shocked and disappointed the first time I attempted to use their Legal service. I live in a part of north Florida, which has law schools and is overpopulated with lawyers. NONE of them were available through MetLife Legal. No one participates and no one is interested. Attorneys will only, briefly speak to you via a telephone conversation and then charge MetLife for a consultation. I visited an approved attorney in a nearby town for a consultation and was then immediately denied a simple consultation reimbursement. I signed up for the so-called premium plan. By the way, you will continue to be billed for one year despite cancelling. Block billing payments and report this rip-off scheme.

I've used this service twice. Both times the only thing I got was a free consultation. The frustrating part is most attorneys offer a free consultation anyway. So I'm paying for a service for nothing because I would get a free consultation anyway and if I want to hire the attorney I'm still paying out of pocket. Such a rip off.

Hyatt referred me to Attorney Matthew Fornaro, who instead of Defending me, as my Debt Defense Attorney, he Colluded with the Attorney who was suing me, and Obtained additional fees for the Attorney who NEVER represented me!! My total loses are over 300K. Hyatt has very unethical Attorneys. Stay far Away!!

We had a lawyer named Darell Yorkie who was biased and unhelpful and only gave me moral advice instead of legal advice. He was fairly rude and unprofessional as well.

new "system" is in place that I , as a panel atty for more than 25 years, was told that I had to use, I go to the site, and was advised to click Create Account which is not there. I will have to resign as a plan atty since I get referrals and do the legal work yet cannot bill for it since I am not on this New SYSTEM! I call and am told I will be connected with what referred to as Panel Representative, and I wait but no person connects with me called a panel Rep. and the people I talk to say I must speak to the Panel Rep and that they are sending me to the Panel Rep but it never happens.
