Before enrollment, everyone was helpful and quick to answer. After I paid for the full year, that changed completely.
My daughter is coming from an international IB school, and the school knew this from the start. I was told the LSS team would evaluate her credits after enrollment. Only after I paid was I asked to pay around $200 for an external evaluation through Scholaro, with extra fees to get it faster. I paid it. Weeks later we still don't have a final graduation plan, the same questions are being asked again as if nobody read our earlier emails, and my latest email has gone unanswered.
I also called the school today. A person finally answered, was clearly unwilling to help, and hung up on me. Just like that.
The school feels full of AI. We get long automated messages that don't answer what we actually asked, and I wouldn't be surprised if the replies to reviews here are written by an AI agent too.
I imagine the few staff members are overloaded by the demand and by a bottleneck the company created itself, and I honestly sympathize with the precarious conditions they seem to be working in. I hope management reflects on this and makes better choices, both for their staff and for their students. But my daughter still needs to study, and I paid for a service.
My advice: do not pay for the full year upfront. Once the payment is made, they really seem to disappear. If you are considering this school, I would suggest choosing another one so you don't end up in the same situation as us.

My experience with Legacy Online School…
My experience with Legacy Online School has been extremely frustrating, especially when it comes to communication. I sent dozens of emails and called countless times, but rarely received a response. On the first day of school I was sent no links at all to join the classes for that day. For the first two and a half months of the school year, they never gave me access to the AP Psychology course I had already paid for, despite me repeatedly contacting them. Eventually, they added the course, but I was still expected to complete all the work I missed, even though it wasn't my fault that I couldn't access the course in the first place. The teachers also aren't the best when it comes to helping students. Many don't respond to inbox emails when students have questions, which makes online learning much harder. Overall, the communication and organization seriously need improvement. I would definitely think twice before enrolling.

Dear Ferdaws,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry for the delay in accessing your AP Psychology course, the difficulty reaching our team, and the frustration this caused at the start of your school year. This is not the level of support we aim to provide, and we take full responsibility.
Here is how we are resolving your concerns:
Missed coursework: You should not be penalized for the time you could not access the course. Because AP Psychology follows the College Board curriculum and full credit requires completing all units, we can't remove assignments, but we have extended the deadlines for all work that was due before your access was granted. You can complete it on an adjusted timeline without late penalties.
Teacher responsiveness: We are reviewing teacher response times on our platform and addressing any gaps with our teaching staff. If a question to a teacher goes unanswered, our Learning Support team at [email protected] will follow up with the teacher on your behalf.
Onboarding: We have expanded our support team and upgraded our course delivery system so new students receive course access and class links without delays.
We will keep working directly with you to make sure the rest of your year in AP Psychology goes smoothly. For anything urgent, please contact us at [email protected] and we will prioritize your request.
Best regards,
Legacy Online School Team

1/5 stars — Beware: Failed to deliver promised 1:1 support for my daughter’s IEP
I enrolled my daughter in Legacy Online School’s 1:1 program specifically because she has an IEP and needed dedicated support to catch up on gaps that public school never addressed. Before enrollment was even finalized, she was evaluated by two different teachers on separate days, one hour each, to determine what type of course structure would best support her. After the second evaluation, it was determined she needed 1:1 instruction. This should have been a well-supported placement from day one. Instead, it was one failure after another.
Rather than starting 1:1 classes on 8/17/26 as planned, we instead met with the assigned 1:1 teacher and an LSS (Learning Support Services) team member to go over my daughter’s academic needs, with the understanding that this meeting would allow the teacher to provide correctly targeted support starting 8/18/26.
On 8/18/26, the teacher showed up completely unprepared — randomly clicking through games and videos from the online lesson with no actual instruction behind it. To make matters worse, she wasn’t even able to get the educational videos to play with sound and couldn’t figure out how to adjust the settings so my daughter could hear them. My daughter never received real 1:1 teaching on the lesson skill, and none of the assigned lesson work was completed. I told myself it was just a first-day adjustment and that things would be more structured going forward.
Instead, on day 2, the teacher didn’t show up at all. When I called to find out what was going on, I was hung up on — twice — before I could reach anyone. I finally emailed the LSS team out of frustration and received a callback apologizing and promising a new teacher would take over effective immediately for day 3.
Day 3 arrived, my daughter logged in on time for her new teacher’s 1:1 session — and again, no teacher showed. At that point I’d had enough and emailed enrollment to withdraw her.
For a program that specifically evaluates students and markets itself as providing individualized instruction for those who need it most, this was a complete breakdown in preparation, communication, reliability, and basic follow-through. If your child needs consistent, dependable 1:1 support, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

Thank you for laying this out in detail. We are not going to explain it away. A missed start, a teacher who was not prepared, two sessions left unattended by staff, and calls that got dropped before you could reach anyone. That is our failure, and we understand why you withdrew.
This has been escalated to our Learning Support Services lead and our academic director. We are reviewing the teacher assignment for this placement, our backup coverage when a scheduled teacher does not appear, and how your calls were handled. Please email [email protected] with "Trustpilot" in the subject line so we can resolve the billing directly with you.
We are sorry. You told us exactly what your daughter needed and we did not deliver it.

Extremely Disappointed – Great Sales Pitch, Zero Real Support
I am beyond frustrated with my experience with Legacy Online School and deeply regret choosing this platform for my children.
During the initial enrollment process, their team was attentive, constantly reaching out, following up, and always readily available to answer questions. However, the moment enrollment was finalized, that level of service completely vanished.
I was never even given access to a parent portal—my children were simply tossed into classes without my knowledge or approval. To make matters worse, they have my children's profiles and assignments completely mixed up. When you try to rectify these major issues, it is impossible to reach an actual human being. Every single phone number I call leads to an AI assistant that claims it is transferring the call to a live support agent—only for the line to disconnect every single time.
Being unable to reach a live person when your children's education and records are messed up is completely unacceptable. At this point, it feels like a total bait-and-switch scam.

Thank you for taking the time to share this, and we are truly sorry. Your frustration is completely justified.
We want to be transparent about what happened. This year we received a significantly higher volume of enrollments than we had planned for, and parts of our onboarding infrastructure did not scale with it, automated enrollment emails were delayed or failed to send for some families, our phone lines were overloaded, and our support team fell behind on responses. None of this is your fault, and we know an explanation is not an excuse: it is our responsibility to be ready for the families who trust us.
Please don't worry about your refund and it will be processed in full. Our team is already handling your cancelation, and we will make sure it is completed promptly. If anything is unclear along the way, please email [email protected] and reference this review so we can prioritize your case.
We are actively fixing the root causes right now: repairing the email automation that delayed onboarding details, adding callback queues so calls are returned instead of dropped, and expanding our support capacity so every family gets a timely, personal response. These changes are already underway, and we are confident the experience will be meaningfully better because of what this season taught us.
Once again, we are sincerely sorry we let your family down, and we appreciate you holding us accountable.

think it's a scam
There is always someone to answer you untill you pay. Then - it's a kind of magic: they all dissapear.
Today was supposed to be my son's first day of school. We got no links to join classes (probably no classes anyway), no schedule, nothing.
No one answers the phone, emails or whatsapp.
unfortunately, we have come to sadly realize we fell for a scam.

Inadequate Services
They are always late for scheduled appointments. Legacy was a no show to 4 appointments to schedule my son’s classes. When AI transfers your call to any of the teams, it hangs up.
We really wanted to try this school. We have scheduled and fought for 2 weeks to get this completed. Very disappointed
Update 8/14/26 scheduled meeting at 9am and 2pm and no show from legacy. Scheduled another 4pm just in case. No one reaches out etc.
Response from Legacy Online SchoolAug 17, 2026
Thank you for sharing this, and we are truly sorry, missing four scheduled appointments is unacceptable, and we understand how frustrating two weeks of fighting to get a simple thing done must have been.
We want to be transparent about what happened. This year we received a significantly higher volume of enrollments than we planned for, and parts of our systems did not scale with it. The call transfer issue you describe is a real technical fault we have identified, when our AI assistant routed calls to a team during peak load, some of those transfers dropped instead of connecting or queuing. Scheduled onboarding calls were also overbooked beyond our team's actual capacity, which is why appointments were missed without warning. None of this is your fault, and an explanation is not an excuse: it is our responsibility to be ready for the families who trust us.
We would like to make this right and get your son's classes scheduled properly. Please email [email protected] and reference this review so we can prioritize your case — a specialist will personally confirm a time and show up to it. If you have decided to part ways instead, we completely understand and will support whatever resolution you need.
We are actively fixing the root causes right now: repairing the call routing so transfers connect or offer a callback instead of dropping, rebuilding our scheduling process so meetings are only bookable against real staff availability, and expanding support capacity so every family gets a timely, personal response.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for letting your family down, and we appreciate you holding us accountable.

I am deeply disappointed with our…
I am deeply disappointed with our experience with Legacy Online School. As a parent, I trusted them with my children’s education and privacy, but that trust was broken.
Without my consent, my minor daughter’s full name, photo, and video were used in a promotional YouTube advertisement for the school. Even after I raised my concerns directly with them, her image and information continued to appear in marketing materials.
This was very upsetting and concerning for me as a mother, especially knowing how sensitive children’s privacy should be.
In addition, my son, who has special needs, experienced bullying while enrolled, and I did not feel that the situation was properly addressed or handled in a way that made him feel safe.
I am sharing this so other parents can be aware and ask very careful questions about privacy, consent, and student safety before enrolling their children.
Response from Legacy Online SchoolMay 8, 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how important the privacy and safety of children is, and we take concerns like yours very seriously.
We are not able to discuss the specifics of any individual student's situation in a public forum, as doing so would itself raise privacy considerations. However, we want to assure you and all prospective families that our school maintains consent-based policies for the use of any student's image, name, or likeness in marketing or promotional materials.
With regard to student wellbeing and anti-bullying, we have dedicated support processes in place and are always working to strengthen them, particularly for students with additional needs.
We sincerely invite you to connect with our team directly at [email protected] or call us at (+1 (727) 513-00-16) so that your specific concerns can be reviewed carefully and confidentially. Every family deserves to feel heard, and we would like the opportunity to address this properly.
