AIDA gave me more than a path through a career transition into instructional design. The AIDA coaches, mentors, community, and abundant resources supported me in navigating all the unknowns and developing confidence along the way. From adult learning principles, authoring tools, resume, portfolio, networking, interviewing, and the mental health of career transitioning, this program encompassed invaluable topics using a clear and attainable step-by-step method with the guidance of experienced professionals.

AIDA is worth the investment in yourself! This comprehensive academy gives you the tools, skills and mindset to rise to your potential as an Instructional Designer. The experience is set up to be self-paced, but you are never alone, you have a variety of experts and support professionals to guide you and provide feedback to improve your work and get you ready to apply for your first ID position. I am extremely happy with how this program has been able to fill gaps in my ID practice while also supporting me as a professional.

Prior to AIDA I had to troubleshoot alone and google. The incredible team at AIDA makes the ID skills acquirable in that you do not feel alone as you upskill. Constant feedback, teamwork, and high expectations set this program above all others.

The team at Learning Strategy & Design changed my life. I was a burnt out teacher working 11-12 hour days with no time or money for myself and my passions. Enrolling in their 9-month Instructional Design program provided me the skills and support I needed to land a job with a global entertainment and hospitality company where I have less stress and more respect and appreciation. I spend less time at work and significantly increased my base salary and now have the time and money to pursue hobbies and live life. I have been out of the program for about 7 months now and still continue to receive support from their fabulous community, when I need it. I never could have made this career change without them.

Hello all! I am in my 3rd month of the AIDA program and I am loving it more than I ever expected. I’m so glad I made the leap and I’ve made so many friends and connections I know will last! This is a support rich place to learn! So sorry I didn’t do this a year ago when I did the 5 day trial. Don’t be like Michelle. Don’t wait! Invest in yourself!

After I attended the Free 5 Day Workshop I knew I had to take the leap into AIDA! I am on Week 9 right now and in the PbD phase (almost done yay)! Along the way I have met and interacted with so many helpful people. You are NEVER alone! The AIDA community is what sets this program apart from the others! I'm learning so much and so glad I joined!

I don't even know where to begin. Jill and the AIDA community supported me on a journey that changed my life. I joined AIDA in Sept., 2021 and secured a role as a full-time ID working remotely just six months into the program with a 20k increase in my salary. I was supported every step of the way and even after. I was a teacher for 17 years, single mother of a teenager, and knew that I couldn't stay in education. I am beyond grateful for what this program has done for me. I am able to send my son to a private school, spend time with my parents daily, take my dog on walks during the day, drop my son off at school, be home with him when he is sick and the list goes on and on. One thing I have learned on this journey is that if you wait until you are comfortable, the time will never come!

As an elementary teacher of 23 years, I didn't know what else I could, but I was hell-bent on getting out of the classroom. I participated in Jill's ID Jumpstart Workshop and realized that my teaching experience had me well prepared for ID, so I decided to join AIDA! The self-paced program allowed me to learn and practice on my schedule. The support from coaches, success advisors, and peers was priceless as I learned the design process and how to use Storyline & Rise, revised my resume and LinkedIn profile, and so much more. I graduated from AIDA in April 2022 and have successfully transitioned from teacher to corporate ID! Even as a program graduate, I still have access to course materials and tremendous support in the AIDA Alumni group! AIDA is a truly AMAZING program!
