Leafwell doc letter not valid without…
Leafwell doc letter not valid without Doc’s office number Leafwell does not seem to understand the medical marijuana requirements for the state of California. I have been a medical patient in California since 2005, and when my doctor retired I found Leafwell. In California, a card from Leafwell is not the same as a state Medical Marijuana Identification card, which is the only way to receive the legal benefits (city tax exemptions etc) of a state medical marijuana card. I submitted my id card application to the county using the Leafwell doctor’s letter, but Leafwell does not provide the doctor’s office number on their doctor’s recommendation, only a fax number. The county processing office will not approve the application without this number. I called Leafwell to get the number, but the number they provided went to voicemail without identifying who the number belongs to. I’ve also emailed the doctor asking for an office number, and learned that her office is in Massachusetts, although she is licensed in California? Leafwell suggested I put their number on the application, but that would be illegal under California law as I understand it. I am concerned that a Massachusetts office number may not be valid to get a state medical id.
