Good Install Results. So So Customer Service.
It was a two day job. The first install date went well. That was Friday, June 24th. The next day, Saturday, June 25th, no one showed up at all. The scheduled time was 9 a.m. that day. I got up in time to be ready for the installers, but no one showed up or called me or texted me. I sent a text that Saturday to one of the salesmen to let them know that no one had shown up and that damage was done to my existing bathroom countertop. Later that day, I find out from one of the salesmen that the installer had lost his keys to his truck and that is why they never showed up. Around 2:51 p.m. that Saturday, one of the installers responds to my earlier text, telling me why they were a no show and he apologizes. I tell him I'm sorry his keys were lost and that it would have been better if he had informed me of this earlier in the day (as opposed to having a customer wait until almost 3 p.m. to hear from him). The installer did not respond back to me. So, Monday, June 27th rolls around and I am at work and get a call from one of the salesmen. He informs me that one of the installers told me that they would be at my home that day (Monday the 27th) to continue the work. However, I was never contacted by the installer with that information. If I had been, I would have worked from home. The only thing the installer told me was why he never showed up on Saturday the 25th. I let the salesman know that. I tell the salesman that I will get with by boss and see when I can work from home. That work from home day ended up being Wednesday, June 29th. When the 29th arrived the installers were one hour late and I let the saleman know. The install was completed that day: the 29th. I was happy, for the most part with the install. Of course, there was still the issue of the damage done to my existing countertop. When I pointed out the damage to one of the installers, his response was, "I threw that piece away". He did not offer to fix it or offer a solution. So, I made sure I mentioned this to the salesmen. There were two salesmen I was in contact with. Both salesmen told me I would hear from them or the installer that day or the next day. I never heard from anyone that day or the next. A few days went by and I texted both salesmen to inform them that no one has contacted me about my damage issue. Once again, I was told that I would be contacted the next day. That was on Thursday, July 7th and I still have not heard back from anyone: installer or salesman. Although, I am happy with the shower install, I am not happy with the customer service from the installer (regarding being late, not communicating, saying I was told a new schedule date when I wasn't and regarding the unfixed damage). Nor, am I happy with the salesmen because twice they both told me I'd hear from them "tomorrow" or "text you in the morning" and neither happened. In our last conversation on July 7th, I told one of the salesmen that I was planning on replacing the damaged countertop, but something still should be done about the damage because an installer should not come in to someone's home, damage their property, not mention it and expect nothing to be done about it like it's okay. The salesman agreed that something would be done, but again, I have not heard from anyone in both cases where I was told I would. And, as I mentioned to the saleman, if I had not sent a text on July 7th, I would still be waiting to hear from someone and, unfortunately, I am still waiting. At this point, I have decided to move on and not bother with reaching out anymore because I have already been told I'd hear back and I haven't. So, for anyone who wants to know if I would recommend Leaf Home Safety Solutions, I probably would not, but only because of what I have just explained. Again, the shower install results were good. Everything else (as explained above) was not so good. If you're okay with possibly having to go through what I went through (as described above), by all means, give them a try.
