Have to agree with everyone about their shady business practices… I don’t ever remember upgrading to a pro subscription as it’s just me and I only used a few of their features…why would I sign up for a pro plan to be charged $99 a month?! I stopped getting emails from them early this year and suddenly I noticed a charge this month of $99 that apparently been charged me monthly since 2023!! No notices of any billing or monthly or yearly re-activation in my emails whatsoever, so for this reason I do not recommend! It’s not right. This is clearly a way to prey on forgotten subscriptions, not good business in 2025.

Hi Marie, I'm sorry to hear about the confusion regarding your billing and that you weren't happy with your Leadpages experience. While we have made changes to our pricing, we have also ensured to reach affected customers by email ahead of their renewal to explain the differences and review any options or available workarounds with our support team. Users are also always able to review billing details in their Leadpages account. I wasn't able to locate a recent email correspondence regarding billing under your name. I could certainly see if we can give this a second look if you reach out to our team at [email protected]. Wishing you well, — The Leadpages Team

Update based on responses from Leadpages email support and below: --- It’s interesting to see the different reasons provided across various channels. Your email cites a change in payment processors that apparently "cannot support customized plans", while on Trustpilot you claim the increase is to ensure fairness across the customer base. The nature and inconsistency of these explanations doesn’t exactly boost your credibility. Also, claiming "no increases have taken place" while my bill jumps by 300% and citing fairness to abruptly hike prices for long-term customers is quite a stretch. --- I am very disappointed with Leadpages’ recent decision to raise their rates by nearly 300% over the holidays, providing only 30 days’ notice. This abrupt and substantial increase seems unreasonable and in disregard for your customers’ financial planning and trust. This sudden change, while everyone is away over the Christmas break, has left us scrambling to find a new solution and migrate our content within a couple of weeks. This experience has been frustrating and damaged our perception of Leadpages as a reliable service provider.

Hello Hilmar. Thank you for your valued feedback. We appreciate you taking your time to let us know your thoughts. It appears as though you've been on a 'legacy' rate that hasn't been available to most customers for a quite some time. In an effort to modernize our systems and look toward the future, we're no longer offering legacy plans. To ensure fairness across our customer base, this is a change effecting all legacy customers, It looks like you're being move to the Pro plan as a means to keep your landing pages online and actively promoting your business. Pro is the required plan for over 5 landing pages. Due to your next bill being higher and the aforementioned legacy changes, it may seem like Leadpages have increased their prices, but no increases have taken place on our current pricing. I can see that you have a ticket open in our support queue that has provided you with a similar explanation, but hopefully this response also provides you with the context you need. Thanks again. Leadpages Support :)

We left LP a few years back but loved the platform. Sadly their servers were down and we depended on the platform way to much - there was no communication and we had to watch twitter for 24 hours just to get a response. Fast forward, we thought we would try it again and they have gone ahead and billed us without any advance notification of the trial ending. Really dislike it when companies do this- always wary of folks that need that card upfront- its for one reason only -to get the money. We have worked with some firms that require a card but do let you know when the trial is ending just in case you do not want it, or have not had time to explore it fully, before they bill you. I would suggest Leadpages adopt some respectable business practices! We are getting a refund despite a condescending message from their staff saying we should have been aware we were getting charged at the end of the trial. Desperate times.

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback! We were able to locate the account you're referring to. We do actually send two emails to customers prior to the end of the trial period reminding users of the amount and date in which they'll be charged, along with cancellation instructions. It's possible that these emails were missed, or ended up in your spam folder, so I definitely understand the frustration here. Customers also confirm the amount and date they'll be charged when signing up- And have the ability to cancel their subscription/trial from directly within their accounts at any time. We apologize if our support came off as condescending as well. After reviewing the ticket, it appears our agent advised of the terms of service agreed to during sign up, and immediately offered you a refund. I'm glad we could help with that! We wish you all the best, and thank you again for your feedback! Sincerely, The Leadpages Team
Adrian
When it’s working the app is fine.... There are a lot of annoying bugs though and the support isn’t great. We once had them break one of our funnels and then deny it! The app is DOWN right now and I need to get a landing page out today - not great...

Hello Adrian, Thanks for reaching out and providing feedback! We pride ourselves on our support and sorry to hear we fell short for you. We say it will usually takes around 24 business hours to receive a response from our team. Though from time to time if our queue is higher than expected or around a holiday we can take a bit longer. Again we pride ourselves on the support we provide. So hopefully we are able to offer that same great experience in the future. As for the app being down, we haven't seen any widespread outages so if you haven't, definitely reach out to [email protected] so we can check over your account and pages! - Best, Leadpages Team
