The process was entirely opaque. I received an invitation by e-mail to the assessment. It provided no details of what was involved/expected. I followed the instructions to try to find out what was required of me. The invitation said that, after a system check, I would have the option to try some practice questions or ‘Start Assessment Now,’ at which point I would access the Welcome Note which would set out the rules and instructions specific to my assessment, and that clicking ‘Continue’ after reading the Welcome Note would trigger the start of the assessment. Instead, what actually happened was that, immediately after viewing the practice questions, the assessment started. I never had access to the Welcome Note and I never clicked 'Continue'. Since I was completely unprepared to sit the assessment there and then, I immediately closed my browser and contacted Jobma's support. They assured me that I would be able to resume the assessment where I left off. I happily reopened the assessment when convenient to me. This advice also proved to be inaccurate, however, as I was no longer able to access the first question of the assessment that had opened unexpectedly. As a result, I am unable to complete the assessment and have missed out on this job opportunity. It is incredible that Jobma's platform has no failsafe mechanism to ensure that candidates are ready to sit the assessment.

Overall, our experience on Jobma has been positive. We introduced it for the purpose of simplifying the preliminary stages of hiring and, after some time, we found that the tool was becoming an indispensable part of the hiring process. The user-friendly nature of the platform allows recruiters to easily create interviews and assess responses provided by candidates. Most of the candidates seem satisfied with their experience with the platform, particularly because they get the opportunity to conduct interviews according to their own schedules. It makes it possible for us to eliminate any difficulties associated with scheduling and to screen candidates without wasting much time. Moreover, the customer support services have proven to be efficient. Although the platform does not provide all advanced features and analytics we would like, we still find it valuable and worth our time.
