Lucky Compass Travel DesignReviews of lctraveldesign.com

Vanessa and her team were so great! I loved the system she uses; in fact, her system notified me about our delayed flight via email before we even got a push notification from the airline itself! We also really appreciated her partners. Everything felt so personalized, from the welcome bottle Lucky Compass left for us (thank you again), to the recommendations based on our food preferences. Even though we stayed on a resort for one of our stays, nothing ever felt too touristy. Vanessa really takes her time to ensure you will have your dream vacation. Thank you again Vanessa and Lucky Compass!

Thank you Vanessa and your team, Everything was organized with stress free professional service and support…,We will remember this trip and how special you made our 60th birthdays!!!!

Vanessa planned an amazing trip to Costa Rica for us! My daughters and I had been talking about going for years, and we had always dreamed of doing a senior trip together. I was nervous about planning a trip like this on my own, so I reached out to Vanessa. She listened to everything we were hoping for and planned the perfect trip for us. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned, and we made memories that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. I’m so thankful we took the leap and made this trip happen!

Vanessa helped plan a trip for us to Costa Rica for a group of 6 friends. Not only was our trip the absolute best we could have imagined, using her to coordinate several different households/wants/payments/bookings made the trip seamless. We wouldn’t have had nearly as good of a time planning on our own without her expertise. I rarely travel back to locations a second time, but I would go back to CR in a heartbeat. Our lodgings were perfect, tours were amazing, and when there was a hiccup with delayed flights Vanessa took the worry away from us. I couldn’t thank her enough for giving us this experience!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Valentina at lucky Compass travel to plan our honeymoon. I don't even know where to begin other than saying it was absolutely the trip of a lifetime. Everything was exactly as we had hoped. They were easy to work with, very helpful and planned amazing excursions. The whole trip was stress-free, we had transfers to the resorts and amazing excursions. I will absolutely be recommending them to anyone hoping to travel to Costa Rica or elsewhere! Pura vita!!

I first met Vanessa at the end of a waterfall in Costa Rica in 2020. I followed her journey over the years and was excited to follow along during her family's trip to Italy. I reached out to Lucky Compass to inquire about a trip to Italy for my family when Vanessa put me in touch with Valentina. Valentina was super helpful and extremely knowledgeable about all things Italy. After discussing budget and travel wishes, and a few itinerary changes, within 6 months, our family was on our way to beautiful Milan, Venice, Florence & Rome! The trip planning process and communication was everything! All my questions and concerns were taken care of in a timely manner. Valentina was available during our stay in Italy for questions or concerns that came up. Don't hesitate hiring Lucky Compass Travel Design! Their local, world-wide experts will help enhance your travel experience TEN-FOLD!!

We recently had a trip to Costa Rica which Vanessa and Lucky Compass helped us plan. She recommended two wonderful places for us to stay, as well as some exciting excursions. But what really impressed us was the way she handled rearrangements when my husband became ill and we had to adjust our plans. She took care of all the cancellations and changes that had to be made, and her colleague even met us at a nearby hospital to act as translator, which was invaluable. We were lucky that Lucky Compass was there to help us with the planning before and the rearrangements during our trip!

Vanessa and her whole team were incredible to work with for the full year we spend envisioning this trip. I had spent time in Costa Rica 25 years ago, but was re-visiting now with kids of my own and a few families, and a convoluted nuanced travel wishlist. Vanessa completely understood our goals and rhythms, and we had a 10-day trip of a lifetime, fully customized and supported along the way. Great lodging, excursions, domestic travel--everything was smooth and easy, so we could just enjoy the country and each other!
