Lara charged us £ 400 styed just over…
Lara charged us £400 stayed just over an hour and all her tricks failed.Donot pay her up front she is not truthful by her words. Drank all our alcohol and left.Lara we arrived at 9.40pm and saw you arrived.I offered you a glass of wine and you accepted.I have all the videos to proof only 3 worked ,within the space that you were there. You chatted so much to let time fly! 3 worked and 8 failed, you can hear yourself on the video you kept swearing, not again! You got so upset because it was not working that you blamed the 12 guest for not being responsive.Your Husband also said no pictures or videos as he will be the photographer for the evening. Some guest said that it was strange that we cannot take pictures in our own home.4 guest wondered if it was a catch at the end and charge us again an astronomical price for the videos. We all took some.debbie and I took the videos.I am gratefull we took the videos. I offered you a glass of wine not the bottle that you took to the lounge. That is irrelevant. We were all disappointed because your tricks failed about 8 times. Please explain to your clients that 9 out of 10 times your tricks failed then you blamed it on a small amount of 10 guest. It is very sad to see the videos that I have.Good luck!

Thank you for your reflection and review. It failed for a number of reasons, most significantly, there were not enough guests to form the kind of audience you need for a successful hypnosis show. Over the phone you assured me you would have 25 guests in fact there were only 10, most of whom including yourself did not want to go into hypnosis and none of whom had been forewarned or provided consent. Hypnosis is a collaboration between the hypnotist and the subjects. If the subjects do not want to go into hypnosis whether for entertainment or therapy they will not go into hypnosis. Amongst other things you were unhappy that I was talking to the guests. I understand that your expectation was that I walk into your space with guests who didn’t know I was coming and begin hypnotising them. In a small working space like your flat it was important that people relaxed. You say that all my “tricks” failed, this is simply not true. Out of those ten people in the space, I successfully hypnotised two of your guests. The hypnosis ‘tricks’ as you call them include one of them forgetting their name and having their hand stuck on their head. You were also disappointed that I didn’t do some of the ‘tricks’ you asked for. Before coming, you mentioned your husband’s best friend as being a bit of a nuisance and a conspiracy theorist, and someone who you wanted me to do a trick on and have me implant a conspiracy theory in his head. However, when I met the man concerned, he was very gentle and told me that he suffered with some anxiety and the idea of planting a conspiracy into his head presented itself as a very bad idea to me and seemed totally unethical and more importantly unkind. You also wanted me to get your husband to strip his top off and dance to Elvis, but it was revealed to me during the hypnosis that your husband didn’t like Elvis so would have found this suggestion humiliating rather than entertaining especially with such a small and unresponsive audience. He did however, imagine he was seeing you in the shape of a cloud and waved to you. This is on our recording, along with few of you experiencing hypnosis. We can both agree that it was not a dazzling success of a hypnosis party, however it is clear from the full recording that I’m a hypnotist doing my best in a difficult situation. Some of the things worked and some of them did not. I don’t know who this person is who you’ve described as staying for an hour and drinking all your booze. Sounds like they had a much better time then me. Your husband offered me a glass of wine when I came in. And I drank half of it, as I introduced myself to your guests and settled into the space having had to wait in the car because your party returned from the restaurant half an hour later than agreed. If I’d realised you were insulted by my accepting a glass of anything I would have brought my own water. I don’t know what sort of price you think that asking someone to come to your house in London involving an hour’s drive each way, late on a Saturday night and perform some entertainment hypnosis for you in the privacy of your own flat with six day’s notice should cost, but I really think you are mistaken in what you consider to be expensive. The following morning, rather than have a polite and respectful conversation with me about your disappointment, you called me a con artist on social media. This was not the behaviour of someone acting with integrity. Thankfully the video evidence shows the truth of your evening weather you like it or not. This could have been handled so differently. I know you were disappointed but so was I and your disappointment has manifested in rage, spite and dishonesty .
