The only thing good about the chair is that it extends fully but it makes a horrible cranking sound anytime you open it up and then if you wanted to go back more it makes it more horrible cranking sound and I paid $1,700 I would never get another chair by them, I put WD-40 on every mechanical part underneath and it still makes the same horrible sound after 7 or 8 months it gets on your nerves also the neighbors

Purchased sofa, loveseat and chair ...approx $6K. Took 9.5 months to receive(31 Dec).. Loveseat and couch have bad buckling on cord around cushions and piced on front rather than back. Middle seat completely popped out in front (this will be repaired). Back cushions are not full and wrinkle. Side panel on loveseat already replaced. Really poor workmanship!! Professional upholster identified all the problems and Lazyboy will only fix 2....after trying to resolve for another 60 days. I will never buy Lazyboy again and recommend not spending good money on their products....for which they don't adequately resolve problems.

I purchased a very very expensive recliner from lazy boy. I was very happy with it and it’s motorized. I had a problem with the foot rest it would open but was lopsided. I phoned lazy boy in Sarasota FL in January 2022 and had to wait 3 months for the repair man to come over. He came over said it was broke charged me 85 dollars said he will order the part! He said another 3 months to get it and fix it! I called lazy boy and asked if they had someone else they said no. I’m handicap have leg issues now I’m stuck waiting another 3 months. Never again i will go out by a cheaper chair throw it out when it breaks! I thought lazy boy was more reputable I’m very upset 6 months total to repair my chair!

The overall physical construction of our $4200. recliners is fine, however the power and mechanical features are not. The rocking mechanism is very noisy, sounding like a sick cow, and the grinding of the power components is unsettling. The solution says their repairman, purchase a couple of rubber backed rugs and place them under the chair. Guess what? Didn't work after spending another $100. on the rugs. Called their service dept., NO RETURN CALL. Well, they got paid for the chairs and despite paying for an extended warranty, no solution. Had I been aware of the number of disatisfied buyers for LazyBoy recliners, I would have looked at other manufacturers. We are nearing 80 and don't appreciate being mislead or taken advantage of.

Purchased a la-z-boy rocker recliner last year and it's done nothing but creak, squeak, and groan from the 1st day. Tried contacting them onsocial media who just fob off with an email address that no-one replies from ........ever. A year on from getting the chair and the noises from wood and springs is that bad I hate sitting on it. Massive waste of money from a company who has very clearly made its name in the past and is now riding the coattails of the good products no longer made!!

I bought 2 power recliners in Lubbock, Texas from the Lazy Boy Furniture Gallery in Lubbock. after a couple months the cushions in the chairs collapsed. I called and was told there was a problem in production with manufacturing materials. They took my two chairs that cost me $2400 and added more cushions. They put too much in one and the other too much was added to the head rest. They were very angry when speaking with me. The chairs were never repaired correctly. I was told they would do nothing more. Too much money to spend on something these people knew were poor quality. Sad, this is what our country has come too. Everyone we deal with attempts to cheap us and these guy got away with it. Our attorney said there is nothing we can do.Beware, this stuff looks great in the showroom but chances are it is garbage. Garage sale quality.

Shortly after purchasing a Lazyboy leather recliner for $700 the mechanism started making noises every time I sat in it or try to rock it. There is no Lazyboy customer service dept other than "contact the store you purchase it from". The store wanted me to deliver the chair to them when their service guy was in town. I don't have a truck so would have to rent one. Now, after one year the color is rubbing off the red recliner and the arms are now pink. Warranty is only for one year on leather so no luck there. Stay away from Lazyboy. Poor quality and no customer service at all.

Plus point: it's comfy. Negative points: for the past year or so, we've had issues with the electric seats not reclining. Today we had our second engineer visit (nice chap) and - hurrah - both sides worked! Now only one side works. Ridiculous. Back to SCS for yet another visit.
