Like other reviews here we had the leather on the headrest of a £1800 chair start peeling (it looks like paint that is peeling off!!). We were also told bodily fluids were the problem!! Trading standards really need to look at all of this as people are being ripped off for sofas & chairs that are not fit for purpose!! We bought two of the chairs and a sofa that we do not think are going to last two years and when you spend around £6000 you expect better than that!

Paid nearly £1,000 for leather armchair, leather started peaking, like paper. Excuse given 'body fluids'. Nearly 6 months later no response from this company! Overpriced, poor quality. Would never buy again from this company.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I purchased from LZB. We were told that the chair we paid 2K for would be built in about a month. Fast forward six months, and still no chair. I asked when it would be ready and was told they had no idea and that the fabric was on backorder. I asked if I could just choose a different fabric that they had in stock, and I was told no. They would make no changes. The sales associate was surly, rude, was not willing to work with us, and had zero empathy. They would/could not give me a delivery date, so here I am stuck in LZB limbo. Now that I've read these reviews, I worry that a piece of garbage will eventually be delivered and I'll have no recourse to exchange or refund. Never again will I purchase from this company.

Well after buying a lazy boy that was of such poor quality the wonderful people at SCS agreed to give us a reselection. Never ever would I buy or advise anyone to buy a lazy boy. Have ordered a new suite from SCS today but NOT lazy boy. Lazy boy you should be ashamed of making such poor quality furniture and selling it at extremely high prices. Lazy boy you were more interested in passing the buck to SCS instead of dealing with people who had bought YOUR furniture. Get your act together.

I bought a recliner in Feb. 2023 and it broke right after. I've called and listened to their promises to fix according to their insurance but they don't follow through. I'm filing with the BBB etc. Don't buy from here. that's my advise.

First, let me say that if I could give it minus stars, I would. This used to be a top of the line furniture store. Their prices are certainly up there on top! I paid $2000 for a recliner and it has never been right. After more calls to their "no custom care" line, my blood pressure rose because I would wait for over 45 minutes each time and still never got through to anybody. I called the store and was told by the manager in no uncertain terms that he is just a middle man and not his problem. I ended up taking a day to drive 2 hours to speak to someone face to face about this problem. chair leans forward, and spins to the left when I lift my feet up. VERY uncomfortable. I finally have decided to live with it. I'm 71 and just am tired of talking to people that could not care any less. I will not darken the doorway of any Lazy boy store again. absolutely horrible. You would be better off buying from any other place.

I have had a recliner chair in January 2023 and the leather is starting to peel off just reported it to the shop I purchased it from and I will never buy another thing off layzboy again

we bought a la-z-boy recliner in March 2022. the leather on the arms started peeling within 11 months. We contacted la-z-boy who sent an engineer out to inspect the chair. Their verdict was that it was not a manufacturing issue and therefore not their problem. the quality of their products is poor as is their customer service. Their warranty is non existent.
