I used LayAwayLand to purchase a few appliances on their layaway plan. The idea is great for people who want to spread payments without credit checks, and I liked being able to manage my payments online. The items I received were genuine and arrived in good condition once the plan was completed. That said, communication throughout the process was not very consistent. I sent a couple of messages about order updates and didn’t get replies right away. The waiting time between the final payment and delivery was also longer than expected. In summary, it’s an okay service — not a scam, but not the most responsive either. If they improve customer support and update timelines more often, it could be a much smoother experience.

Have used layaway for 3 different products. The first appeared no problem, the second was refurbished item, arrived after a 6 weeks of phones calls chasing the item, and when it did arrive, the screen was scratched right in the middle, not a small scratch several scratches, which for a laptop was quite annoying. I did complain, but as I needed it, I didn't have the time to wait for a replacement. The 3rd item I also had to wait for a over a month for it to arrive. I haven't used these guys since, even though I was continually harnessed with them calling trying to get me to order again. Delivery estimated times are a joke, follow up on complaints also terrible, and I would be weary buying refurbished
