Helped me approach a complex landlord/tenant issue with extreme legal certainty
I was served a section 21 notice which I thought was retaliatory. I confronted my landlord’s managing agent about it and it was a back and forth ping pong of emails leading to nowhere. This quickly changed when I started working with Sarah Hougie who helped me see beyond the retaliatory argument. Sarah was thorough, knowledgeable, and readily available to answer any questions I had. Her guidance was invaluable in solving my issue.

In searching for a lawyer for my case, very few people—if any—were willing to spend more than a couple of minutes with me on the phone. Kyle Temizturk was an exception. Although his firm could not directly represent me, he offered the option of legal support through a consultation. He was very clear and upfront about the costs and what the services entailed. He followed up with two callbacks, recognizing that I was not yet in a position to make decisions. In doing so, he gave me the space to think clearly without the pressure of a sale, while also demonstrating empathy, concern, and strong customer service. He definitely left a good impression.

We tried to make and sign a postnup…
We tried to make and sign a postnup agreement with this firm, and it is not a good experience. The fees were really high, and any small change meant an extra charge. Their internal chat responses took up to a week, and they kept sending quotes without actually doing any work. I was supposed to have a video consultation, but it never happened yet I was still charged. I don’t have much experience with law firms, but this feels unprofessional.

Copywrite (or any specialty focus) Lawyers Now Reasonable!
I was blown away at the level of experience that the Lawhive copyright attorney had. It was an extreme value for what I paid. I am now considering how I can incorporate them into my business, almost like having someone on retainer, without the insane rates!
