We joined LaunchBoom in Jan 2026 and launched our campaign on Kickstarter in mid-April, raising $180,000. Throughout the process, the team provided extensive knowledge and guidance on crowdfunding and the process of building pre-launch interest/community. The LaunchBoom team has been incredibly supportive, flexible, and responsive. They were always available to answer questions, check and correct my work, and still continue to offer help even after the campaign has ended. Finally, by being actively involved in setting up the campaign and running the ads myself, I learned a tremendous amount - not only about crowdfunding, but also about our product, our customers, and which market segments responded most positively. Overall, the experience worked extremely well for us, and I’d like to thank Soren for his guidance and support throughout this journey!

Launchboom helped us reach profitability. We avoided many missteps which could have been terrible for us, such as wasting money on ineffective ads, launching too early, or creating Kickstarter rewards that could alienate the community. It was our first time launching Kickstarter, and we found the entire process very smooth. The platform was easy to use (although a bit laggy when building our webpage), and the way the marketing and ads setup was structured was very easy to understand and implement. Our campaign did better than we ever thought it could. We had left our jobs to work on our board game full-time. We are now a profitable company, and are receiving interest from publishers, distributors and retailers. We can even get small things like health insurance for our small team of 3. We've run 10 Kickstarter campaigns, and this is the first one we've done prelaunch with. We won't run one again without working with LaunchBoom. We went through an intensive prelaunch campaign program with LaunchBoom for DistilUnion.com's MagLock Belt campaign. I gotta say, I was impressed with their system. It really required a lot of focus and discipline on our end but was an awesome framework. We rushed it. They normally suggest allowing for a couple of months to go through it, but we just didn't have time because we wanted to avoid launching into December. We did $7K of ad spend to run a compressed 2 week prelaunch funnel. The result, compared to our previous best campaign, was a 4x revenue lift on the first day and more than double the performance over the entire compaign. We ran ads with our agency (Gild Group) using the LaunchBoom system for both prelaunch and post. We raised $60K on the first day, and $252K over the entire Kickstarter campaign. LaunchBoom's value - tons of spreadsheets and worksheets for building marketing copy with great examples, checklists, a pre-launch email flow, a landing page builder, Loom feedback at checkpoints, an analytics dashboard, cost/profit calculators, meta audiences you can import while your campaign is running, and benchmarks to help know how you are performing and if you should scale up. Make no mistake, it's a lot of work, and takes a lot of time, but it is stuff you should be doing anyway. It was worth it not only for a Kickstarter launch, but maybe even an off-Kickstarter launch and marketing framework. If you've got a marketable product, it's a solid and profitable system that guides you to develop and test your marketing plan. We'll definitely use them again, and next time we’ll provide more time for prelaunch! Well worth it!

Base Case used Launchboom to help us break into the crowdfunding world and I would give them an A+. I was initially referred to them from a friend, I had not ever heard of LB before. When I got in touch, they were very responsive and had an intro call setup really fast. At first I was looking for someone to do a majority of the work because I had a full time and very demanding career. What I quickly learned from them is that they don't do the work for you, but provide a detailed step by step guide / workshop that assists you along the journey. It forces you to really dig in and learn your product and learn the basics of building a funnel, creating content for ads, setting up your meta pixel, learning how to understand what is a good ad. I learned a ton going through the process and am grateful for the structure they have. LB has weekly calls that you can join to go through your campaign and are very responsive if you have questions. I would recommend the LB team to anyone starting out their crowdfunding journey. I'm happy to say that we started the process in September 2024, launched our campaign in February 2025, crushed our goal on Indiegogo, and are now starting production and will be fulfilling our products in January 2026. It's been a long process, but very rewarding and I have to thank the LB team for getting us started on the right path.
