It's a great concept but you will get more by chatting with any AI LLM. Just too many issues. For example, for the last two days I added activity (90 minutes on a treadmill and 90 minutes on a bike) and it will say I didn't do anything lol.
It can't get into specifics well. It will ask you what you had for a meal and when you give it data, it makes incorrect assumptions and the opportunity to fix its errors are subpar.
I feel it will get there but will take time. Yup ;-)

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with Lark! We have received a fair amount of feedback on these points, and plan to release enhancements for both food logging and activity coaching in the future. We hope that you enjoy these enhancements once they're available later this year, and that it doesn't take us as long to get "there" as you may have initially thought! Thank you again for sharing your feedback, and we wish you the best of health.

First Impressions
I just signed up and from what I can gather from the app it is not finished.
*No way to accurately log meals (auto system is always wrong and no way to correct the info)
I will wait and see about the scale and Fitbit functionality then I might change the review; however at this point I do not have a lot of faith in this system.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, Bill. While we are constantly working on improvements to the Lark platform to provide the best experience and support for our members, the application itself is complete, and we are now in our sixth major version. We are also in the process of making significant improvements to our food logging system, and hope to bring the new features to our members in the near future. If you encounter any technical difficulties, be that with the scale, Fitbit, or the app itself, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Support team and we will be more than happy to assist you further. We wish you the best of health!

It wasn't terrible at first...
I liked it at first. It does okay with food tracking and the silly coach bot was actually helpful at first just because it made me think about my choices. I like that it tracks my daily weight in the app and I can visually see it going down. I also liked that I could save notes, which is where I tracked my measurements.
BUT, the coach got annoying so I stopped paying attention once I got in a rhythm. The scale still "works" in theory, but the weight is hit or miss on accuracy. Also, the app only saves 1 month worth of info, and that includes my notes. I have been doing this for nearly 5 months now and I would like to see my over all progress. Another thing that is really annoying is they say that you will get a Fitbit, but I only received the scale. Apparently you will receive the Fitbit if your insurance company approves it, and many do not. That fine for me because I prefer my Samsung watch, except the app does not connect to my watch. I have to manually add all activity which is a pain because half the time it does not accurately track it even if I enter it myself. In the beginning, it connect to my health app, but after about a week it stopped, so my water intake, steps, and manually input weights stopped being saved. Overall, if you want something to get started it's okay, but for the long term, there are several other options that are better and free, and you can pay like $40 for a scale on Amazon that does much more than lark.

Hi Shannon, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with Lark. For issues with the accuracy of your wireless scale or retrieving past data, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] for assistance, as they will be able to assist you with device troubleshooting and replacement if necessary as well as retrieving your historical data. The Fitbit incentive can be earned by participants in specific programs by demonstrating active engagement over the first two months of the program, and our support team will be able to determine whether or not you earned this incentive successfully. We are also excited to release our Health Connect integration later this year, which should improve the experience for users on Android devices. Last, Lark’s Diabetes Prevention Program has been recognized by the CDC, so while cheaper scales might be available they will not come with the same level of coaching and education as included in Lark. Lark is committed to constant improvement, and we hope you enjoy the updates that are coming in the near future.

Free scale, but the "coach" is just an annoying bot
The only positive about this program is the free scale and BP monitoring. Otherwise, the app is useless and the "coach" you chat with is nothing but an unhelpful bot with pre-programmed annoying (and honestly, childish) responses. You can't actually request help from a coach and type your own replies. The calorie counts are way off and I keep getting "this food has too much sodium" messages about recipes I make myself with NO sodium. I was told my protein shake was high in sodium, but it doesn't even have sodium. This is nothing like Myfitnesspal, which has the actual, correct nutritional data and that portion of the app is totally useless. I haven't received any information on how to lower my BP whatsoever and the pre-programed responses like "woo!" and "yup" make me feel like I'm talking to someone who is 18. Do yourself a favor and just buy yourself a scale and a BP cuff. The app provides nothing useful and I can't believe my insurance company is paying for this!

The "coach" is annoying
The "coach" is annoying. It won't let you actually put your real thoughts in - only the preprogrammed responses. I log walking and it records running. Calorie counts are very off. Scale weight was 4 lbs heavier than my doctor and home scale. I interact while winding down in bed at midnight and it whines at me that I haven’t been active (walking, exercising). Duh. I'm in bed. I really don't care for the pre-planned responses o "have" to make. Why can't I actually have an option to ask a question or give my real feelings. Deleting an wrong entry is next to impossible. I hope ot gets better. Ibwas looking forward to using it.

Appreciate effort, But
Appreciate effort to keep me healthy but not liking it. I have read all the instructions and completed all the troubleshooting. Doesn't transfer scale weight to app. Doesn't recognize whole wheat bread. Doesn't allow manually entry of weight. Frustrating coaching, needs to be fast and simple. I have deleted the app because I emailed about issues with no response. Feel bad for wasting money that my plan paid for this.
