Buyer beware!! This business does not have a reputable jeweler inspect their jewelry! The owner saw an opportunity to get rich quick on Instagram and is taking advantage of many people! She has absolutely no knowledge or experience with inspecting antique/vintage jewelry,.Owning a loupe and diamond tester doesn't make one an experienced jeweler!!! They only started selling on Instagram a little over 1 year ago providing no backup to support her experience. I've seen her post clearly marked gold filled rings asking over $700! Whaaaat???? A simple Google search would educate one what the marking is. This hasn't been the 1st incident. Friends have came to me with their experience with this rude business owner, plated gold sold to them as solid gold, ring date markings incorrect, the list goes on. And when the owner is questioned about a piece you spent over $1000 on, she has the audacity to tell YOU to provide back up!! Really?? It should of been done BEFORE being sold! She is over charging people yet doesn't do the work to provide documents to send along with her items. You can't trust pictures on Instagram!! People please!!! Before spending $1000s on a piece of jewelry, make sure there is an appraisal!! Ask questions!! Request backup from a reputable jeweler! If said seller said it was checked by a jeweler, get the proof 1st, she lies!! It doesn't cost much to get stones tested. Be smart!! Do not trust what this seller says!!!

agree with all that frank posted about this business.lots of questionable things happening. gilt being sold as gold, wrong dating on reproductions, dodgy hallmarks, etcetra. if youve bought anything from them get it looked at. im told by several paypal is now investigating a spate of claims.

This seller sells mostly on Ruby Lane (Lady Lovelies Curio) and Instagram. I am writing this not as a competitor (which I am not) but out of concern about recent developments in this business's practices. Some jewelry and other items appear to have been misrepresented by this seller to buyers. It is becoming evident that due diligence to the dating/authentication of jewelry and other items, particularly those from the Georgian/Napoleon III eras, is not being done adequately by this business's owner. Customers who are contacting me about these items to evaluate and authenticate for Paypal claims are being met with rude and petulant behaviour by this business owner when this information about the inaccuracies is presented to them. The aggressive response to customers when they contact with the information is a red flag in my opinion. A reputable seller will always stand behind the items they sell, even if they make an unintentional mistake. These indeed may be honest mistakes, but to knowingly or negligently misrepresent items for profit is also a form of fraud. Please do your diligence when buying antiques, particularly jewelry, from any business, including this one. Have items checked, dated and be clear on the provenance so you do not have unpleasant surprises later. Always use Paypal and other payment systems that protect you in the event of problems.
