EMS is by far the worst merchant services company I have ever dealt with. They'll shut down your account unexpectedly and hold your funds. I strongly advise other business owners to steer clear of EMS. Their lack of communication and unreasonable policies can easily burn your business to the ground. Save yourself the headache and find a more reliable payment processor.

Joke of a company. They will do anything possible to withhold your sales glad they took the mask off early before i brought any serious money through them.

After these people put me on the MATCH list and deactivated my account, two months later they're taking $50000 from my bank account that already has no money in it thanks to them.

I regret that I can't score them a zero star rating. This processor is HORRIBLE. Do not use this company if you want to ever see your sales proceeds again. Their "Risk Department" is awful. They will lock up your funds for virtually any reason, hold them for 180 days, and refuse to explain why, in blatant violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Their "risk specialists" use fake names and refuse to identify themselves so that you have difficulty launching a complaint against them. They assess arbitrary "risks" for the sole reason of holding your funds as long as possible so that they can maximize earned interest for themselves on your money. This company has cost us thousands of dollars in lost revenue by forcing us to delay launching our solutions until we knew our revenues wouldn't be held up. If you are one of many affected by this company, I suggest you do as we have and report them to the BBB, the US Federal Trade Commission and the US Attorney General's Office. I also suggest you file a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. UPDATE: When you try to work with them in an attempt to resolve the issues in a business like manner, they cancel your account and put you on the MATCH list. This speaks VOLUMES about how little this company values their clients' success and how MUCH the relationship is all about profiting from your money. We are exploring all legal options available to us. Company's like this should not be allowed to exist.

This company instructed me on how to reenter some credit card numbers on the phone. Then a few weeks later they charged back my acct 5k and told me someone in there office gave me incorrect instructions and that they can’t return my 5k. Do not do business with this co. I repeat Do Not do any transactions with this company.

Charging us £53 per month for 2 accounts for pci that is meant to be included in our terms, one of the payment portals has never even been used and we cannot access our account. Have been unsuccessfully trying to resolve this since February, absolute nightmare of a company to contact and deal with. Avoid if you don't want robbed monthly.

EMS provided credit card services to our company for approximately 1 month in late 2023 before we stopped using them. They collected tens of thousands of dollars in credit card payments, then forced us to wait months before finally releasing the funds to us due to a bookkeeping mistake on their end in which they incorrectly said we exceeded our limit. They quietly acknowledged after the damage was done that we did not. They have continued to hold $6,000 of our money in a reserve fund since collecting it in 2023 from credit card transactions. We have not performed any card transactions in 2024 because of the disaster EMS was on releasing our funds. We have since moved to another credit card processor and have had no such issues. We attempted in March to get EMS to release our funds. They said we'd have to wait 90 days to have the funds released. Now that the 90 days have passed, They say they will release half of the funds and the other half in 60 days. This is unacceptable as these transactions are now nearly 8 months old and the statute of limitations on credit card chargebacks is typically 120 days. *************************************************** Despite the EMS reply to this post that they attempted to contact me, I received no phone call, voicemail or email regarding my situation. Avoid doing business with this company.
