I forgot to cancel my yearly sub because I'm stupid and even though a week has elapsed before I noticed and despite their terms being clear about this, Krisp refunded me. I didn't cancel because of the product, but because my circumstances changed and they were willing to accommodate. I was a happy customer prior and this experience left such a positive mark on me, that I felt like I had to tell people what kind of company this is. It's rare in this era of software for a company to be this customer focused.

Overall, this is a good noise-cancelling AI and it performs well at reducing background noise. However, it tends to mute or filter out speech sounds such as /s/ and /sh/, which affects pronunciation clarity. This becomes especially inconvenient in pronunciation-focused and teaching environments where accurate articulation of each sound matters. For example, words like “school” may sound closer to “chool,” and “says” may sound like “ay,” causing confusion and reducing speech accuracy. I

Since the last update, the app has been performing terribly. The AI chat has started glitching, strange artifacts have appeared in the text, emojis have started showing up for some reason, and the quality of the transcriptions and summaries has deteriorated significantly.

Overall does the job. The app is very resource intensive tho, we could use it on MacBook Pro 2024 on Teams meeting with screen sharing on. But I'm putting three stars mostly because the app, once granted access to calendar, created an event in mine to remind me to install the desktop app... This is bad practice, and the app was already installed.

My subscription runs till 7 June, but it says my subscription has ended. I reported the issue 3 days ago, and no follow-up. I reported the issue two more times and still nothing. Absolutely terrible support.

I was an early adopter of Krisp starting in 2020 and genuinely loved the product. The noise cancellation worked well, and I recommended it to colleagues regularly. However, something changed after 2023. Krisp quietly stopped sending renewal notifications and receipts; they simply charge your card without warning. When I discovered an unexpected charge and contacted support within five days, they admitted to this practice but refused any refund. This is a textbook dark pattern: making it easy to sign up but deliberately obscuring when you’ll be charged again. A company confident in its product doesn’t need to hide renewal dates from customers. I deleted my account. The software may still work fine, but I can’t recommend a company that treats loyal customers this way.
