I am someone who doesnt have insurance and the web site said they could prescribe phentramine. I am not wealthy enough to purchase GLP 1s without insurance. Spent 2 minutes on the appointment and the nurse practitioner said they don't prescribe phentramine and pushed the GLPs. I had to pay 300 dollars for a 2 minute conversation with no help. Maybe the advertisement should be updated to something that says they only really can help wealthy people and only people who have insurance. It's frustrating to feel like I was scammed out of 300 dollars. Calling the service team they said they would escalate. Cautiously optomistic but historically that business acumen for "we got you sucker" and no one will be refunding me, or at the very least, offer me any sort of services for 300 dollars.

I had online appointments with an np who prescribed me a glp medication. My pharmacy had a problem with insurance coverage and messaged her. She never responded. The company says they will help you navigate the Medicare bridge program, but they don't. Every message I left my np, I got an automated bot answer. I had a second online appt, she assured me the insurance dept would get in touch, but they never did. My insurance got billed for two visits, and I got a prescription (now expired) which I could not fill and no responses but from automated AI bots.

I would normally have given 0 stars. Ever since Paul pettinato left, the office has turned Into a disaster. Poor response time. Ignored messages for days and days. I can’t wait to leave this practice. Not only with me, but my wife had all the same issues. Can’t get referrals, can’t get anyone to even just respond. I would recommend staying clear away from the needham office and just pick any other place anywhere

I had a 7 min conversation with the dr. Then waited weeks to hear back if my weight loss meds were covered. Took about 3-4weeks for them to check. Then to tell me it wasn’t covered. I’d have to pay out of pocket. ( which I understood) I decided to not take any medication to love forward . ( That call was under a min) I just recently got my bill from insurance. They charged it $750!! For a 10 min conversation and no treatment at all! This is insane! I understand to pay something. But I definitely feel ripped off. They should talk about price from the beginning.

I requested a prescription refill with 9 days notice before international travel. Three staff members, 5+ phone calls, 10+ portal messages, and 9 days later, I still don't have my medication. Scripts were sent without insurance info. I was directed to call LillyDirect twice only to confirm they had no prescription in my name. My requests for escalation were ignored. A PharmD suggested a fulfillment option that doesn't exist. The staff are friendly but completely ineffective. If anything goes wrong, you are on your own.

The front staff was so rude! They were literally swearing. Very unprofessional. Very unwelcoming. Once they ended a call with a client, the gossip about the person. Very loudly, it made me, feel uncomfortable! My visit with the nutritionist was a very good, but I cannot go to a place where I don’t feel comfortable with the receptionist. Will not be coming back. Will not be recommending to others. This was the Elgin,IL location
