Trustworthy and friendly company but dated vehicle
I am a tour manager in the music industry (been on the road for 20+ years), and for my most recent tour none of my regular vendors had availability so I rented a tourbus via Kings Charter, a company previously unknown to me and any colleague I asked. They were quick to respond, provided photos of the bus upon request as well as references from previous customers. They were then very keen for me to confirm, chased me up regularly via email and text message, first for confirmation, later for payment (starting one day after I received the invoice) and finally for a review. They asked for full payment in advance but were open to my request of paying the balance after the bus picked us up. The bus that did pick us up was not the same as the one in the pictures, it was a bit older and some of the bunk lights did not work (or weren't even there, and had some wires sticking out of the wall instead) but otherwise everything worked fine. The driver was quite the character and hit the rumble strips a LOT, but he was friendly and easygoing. The beds were comfortable and clean. All in all: they are a trustworthy company but don't expect a new bus.
