As a fractional CFO for numerous consumer product companies, I have found the Kickfurther platform to be a fantastic option for inventory financing. Not only can they work with their community for fund purchase orders quickly, but the structure of consignment inventory vs traditional debt financing can be beneficial on a businesses financial statements. I'd highly encourage that anyone looking for inventory financing take a look at Kickfurther as an option.

We've been working with Kickfurther for several months now and have been able to fund several inventory purchases using there unique methods! We love the team and the system has been very easy to use and there is pretty clear communication consistently and with very little issues. We have even been pressed for time and had Matt and his team work some magic on more than one occasion. They are a great resource for any entrepreneur selling a product. Love the platform and the team is great. - Latif H CEO / Designer SpiritHoods

Working with David & his team has been a great experience for my business. As a growing bootstrapped company being able to get the inventory needed at scale is huge for growth!

Deeply unethical company. They spam your email, try to sell you their product, then lie about how much funding your business is eligible for. Their customer service is terrible from my experience. I've been blatantly ignored with my concerns except when I was cold pitched I was called immediately after I had asked for a phone call. We were testing the waters, funding wasn't necessary nor are we desperate. Business is fine for us, but now we know if we need it, we shouldn't deal with them.

Hi Mike, We're sorry we weren't able to work together this time. Any activities you felt were unethical will be investigated if you share with help [at] kickfurther. We are proud that our costs and process are transparent, exactly because we don't want entrepreneurs to feel there's a bait and switch. We're sorry you had an experience that fell short of this expectation.

UI is great. However would like the company to strictly manage each coops. As an investor, ROI is what is the most important after all.

Kickfurther has created a simple way to support small businesses in a consignment fashion. Many of my co-ops have gone off without a hitch. However, many have also defaulted, and although there are "personal guarantees", it seems (from the buyer's side) as though nothing is done to enforce those. I have co-ops that have been in collections for over a year with absolutely no progress, which is frustrating. On the Kickfurther website, it states, "the collection agency may decide to close the account if recovery does not seem likely". Despite safeguards, there's definitely a chance (and it has been my experience) that you simply don't get any of your money back. It's more risky than it might appear at first glance, but if you can pick reliable companies, it can be a positive experience.
