I have been participating in deals on Kickfurther for over a year now. I was a little skeptical at first because of some of the old reviews online, but I learned that they really tightened up the requirements for deals that they allow on the platform in mid-2017. I'm seeing about 18% returns on my portfolio and plan to increase my participation significantly in the coming months!

The platform has grown quite a bit since early days. Deal quality has improved tremendously, albeit volume is still rather low. The stricter underwriting standards are paying off. Reporting infrastructure is still not there, but the team is capable, and with that piece in place next year this will be an even more robust and useful investment opportunity.

The process went just about exactly as they advised me it would, they answered all of my questions in detail, and I was successfully funded. I paid my backers back on time, and they seemed very happy. Overall a good experience.
