Living in the past
After being part of their community for a while I must say they are highly unprofessional people. They don't listen to criticism and just kick out anyone who disagrees. Very old fashion, that way of thinking has helped company ever make it. So stay clear is my suggestion.

I like the exchange. Found them through their airdrop a year ago. They are clearly trying to do something. They have some nice features for graph analysis that I haven't seen on other exchanges. Their volume is their biggest weakness but they seem to attract more and more traders.
So far so good and I have had startups to and like to give them the benifit of the doubt. They are working hard and trying new things.
Biggest downsides to me are.
They trying the fake-it-till-you-make-it approach, it would do them well to hire a actual marketing specialist that gives more content to their messages.
They don't have many trading pairs. Would help if they develop their daytrading side or offer trading bots like on KuCoin.
Interface is a bit young (not as smooth as you would hope) the error message don't make much sense yet and it would help if they would tell how to resolve the problem at hand. Link to a URL or something.
Anyway,they on the right track and they seem trust worthy. I hope they will grow and find the right message for the outside world, their YouTube channel is still low on detail but it just started so who knows...

Amazing exchange
Amazing exchange. It is pretty young and already has a big volume. It is strange for me that people calling it scam. As I searched correctly , it is a part of KickEcosystem (exists more than 4 years) and is fully licensed. Tried to trade there. Wonderful, fast withdrawals.

Bait and switch scam
While they MAY be launching a legitimate crypto exchange (unlikely), the KickToken ETH token is definitely a bait and switch scam, enticing people to join their server to SPEND money with the hopes of "unfreezing" their KickToken with its imaginary value.
KickToken was distributed to unwilling recipients and now sits on those Ethereum accounts unusable and unmovable due to the smart contract. They want you to deposit real money onto their server to "unfreeze" your KickToken for each transaction fee you incur. However, the unfrozen tokens would only be usable and have value on the KickEx exchange, meaning it's not really a cryptocurrency token at all and the value seen trading on other exchanges is all fake.
Added evidence that this is a true scam: making a negative comment got me immediately kicked from their telegram channel(by a bot, not by someone reading the comment and not liking it). This has had a 100% correlation with scams in my experience. Do not give these scammers money.

According to our algorithm, all the frozen tokens were sent to the wallets of those users who would be able to unlock them.

If you haven't unfrozen your tokens, it doesn't mean that they are scam.
