Kia Finance is THE WORST! They towed my car 1 am on my payment date. I made a full payment later the same day (on my due date) They prematurely towed my car i asked to speak with corporate left numerous messages for Pamela to EMAIL me vs calling due to my job and schedule she still attempts to call vs emailing i have been calling since the beginning of October it is now almost November and still no resolution haven’t even spoken to anyone who attempts to solve the issue customer service continues to transfer with long wait times and currently i’m on the phone with customer service for an hour who disconnected the call during my explanation so i wasted another hour of my time and still no result I DO NOT RECOMMEND KIA FINANCE AMERICA i also just found out they added a $420 repossession fee to my account that has already been paid for in the mist of me calling in to dispute the premature tow so i got double charged during a dispute and no manager or corporate can assist i am contemplating suing this company this is ridiculous !

Kia took an AI payment over the phone as usual, had only 4 payments remaining to pay off a vehicle worth $32K. AI screwed up the payment NO notice from Kia NO call, NO email, NO text and then who had vehicle towed. AVOID this company that is either incredibly incompetent or FRAUDULENT.

Back in 2017 I leased two vehicles through KMF (a Forte and an Optima) and made all payments for both vehicles on time and in full for each of their 3-year terms. The maturity date for the Forte occurred before the COVID lockdown, no issues or problems turning it in. The Optima came due to return after the COVID lockdown began in my area. Nevertheless, I did take the car up to my local dealership (Summit Place Kia, Auburn Hills) and attempted to surrender the vehicle. The doors were locked but someone inside said that nobody would be able to receive the vehicle and I would need to try again. I called KMF and informed them of the situation, that the car was now parked back at my home, would not be driving it further, and that they could come get their vehicle since they were unable to receive it. KMF refused, saying that I should drive to the next closest dealership an hour away and attempt to surrender the vehicle there. I refused, saying I've already attempted to surrender their vehicle and that at most I would drive it back to Summit Place Kia, but I would not otherwise make their inability to receive their vehicle my burden. KMF then had a tow truck come out and take the vehicle and then reported a Repossession to the credit bureaus. I disputed this with Experian and KMF insisted the Repo was valid so the dispute was denied and my credit was further impacted. I then called KMF and said I would pay the $450 Repo Fee they claimed I owed, but asked that they remove this Repossession remark given the circumstances. KMF was happy enough to receive the payment but refused to remove the Repossession remark. So after 3 years and two vehicles of on-time and in-full payments, and a global pandemic prevents KIA from taking back their vehicle, YOU will be held responsible. Never do business with Kia Motors Finance.

My experience with Kia Finance has been extremely frustrating. Refunds for overpayments and canceled warranties are delayed, leaving me chasing money that should have been returned promptly. On top of that, additional payments aren’t applied toward principal unless I call and specifically request it. I shouldn’t have to keep following up to get my money back or make sure extra payments reduce my loan balance. These practices feel shady and have destroyed my trust in Kia Finance. Because of this experience, I will never purchase another Kia vehicle.

Kia finance are bullies. They are the worst to deal with. If you reach an agreement for some reason or another it does not show up in there system next thing you know you are behind 3 months when they agree to certain terms...if I could change kia right now I would.

The managers will hang up on you rather than answer questions or pass you on to their own supervisors. That's a wild customer service choice to keep clients

Honestly if I can give a 0star review I would . Kia finance sucks , I’ve gone to the dealership multiple times on multiple occasions to try and pay my $568 car note for my k4 and received no help (saying my debit card was an issue) it set me back 3months of payments totaling out to now 2grand. I’ve found a way to fix the issue on my end but I’ve been making small payments 3weeks straight until rent is due yet Kia still reposes my car and tells me it’s 2000 to get out. The AI sucks and this whole finance system sucks as well here . I’ve spent a total of 900 bucks this month on my car just to wake up in the morning seeing it gone 10/10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND KIA FINACE !!!!
