Khan AcademyReviews of khanacademy.org

I struggled at math, and this academy made me a monster at it. never thougt i would actually enjoy math..

Very informative and helped me with English grammar understanding

I enjoy the Microeconomics course makes me understand better the subject. I love that it is also for free, great work keep going :))

its fun go for people and kids but videos to long

I really like the website because it has been very useful for working in the summer and because I used tis website I skipped 3 whole years of math.

BAD BAD BAD!!! How to turn young people off school and education!! My 10 year old son is set Khan academy for his homework every week. The videos are far too long, use techniques which are too long winded. The chat in between is tedious. My son switches off from it straight away - he HATES it. My older son was Ok with it but if you are not strongly academic it is terrible. And the fact is it is American and we are in the UK means students are learning the wrong spellings of things. When the tutors write things they put capital letters in the wrong places too. The names and scenarios they use are not easy to digest either. It's soul destroying when he gets one wrong and has to start again. Khan Academy please think about the range of students you are providing for. I am a teacher of 20 years and I would NEVER teach in the way you do. Appalling!

I like how it is free and that they have an AI. However, they don't have courses for elementary science and history, and they need language courses. It isn't very interactive, and I think there should be games. There needs to be 11th and 12th grade language arts.

Beautiful and helpful website. I love how Khan Academy lets education be free to those who access it. I used to take it as not very helpful, but now I appreciate how it works, especially compared to the alternatives. Khan Academy has everything, for everyone, and it's free to use. What else can you ask for? It gives detailed explanations for you while also letting you challenge yourself. Gold star company, these people are rare treasures to the educational field.
