aggressive sales tactics = con artist
salesman approached me in a shopping mall, i was wearing eaphones but she literally stood infront of me and blocked my way. i took them off to ask what she wanted. and then i noticed she was working at a stand. she started using a nail buffer on my hand, i stood there disinterested and wanting to leave but my hand was being held hostage. she tried to hype me about the product unsuccessfully "do you believe in magic?" i rolled my eyes. id seen these nail buffers before and had one at home i bought for much less than the exorbitant price she was trying to sell it for. she was saying how they replace buffer surfaces for free (okay but i can get a lifetime supply of them for the price they sell the first one). but what really annoyed me is that after attacking my nail with this thing she slathered hand cream on my hand without even asking. i got so, incredibly mad. i am always careful of the things i put on/in my body and i hated being assaulted with an unknown substance that was likely full of junk that would irritate my skin along with carcinogens and penetration enhancers etc. she mentioned how it would stay in my pores for 12 hours, how reassuring! my blood was boiling. she did her sales pitch saying i could get 3 gift sets for the price of two and she would throw in some free gifts and blabla. she asked me if i wanted to buy one or take the "deal" of 3 for two. i said neither, i was sick of her wasting my time. i had earphones on and clearly didnt have any interest in even talking to anyone let alone buying an overpriced handcream and having several minutes of my time stolen and attempt to be robbed of money on top of it. i think she targeted me because i was alone and looking sad, but i wasnt the pushover she expected. im glad i didnt buy anything, especially after reading the other negative reviews here. if the product was actually good they wouldnt need to be so pushy to sell it.
