The chair is vey convenient for travel but loses control on sloped driveways. wish it were better so I could use it daily. right now I have to use my pride wheelchair to get around the neighborhood maybe you could improve on that although I could not afford a new one right now. the battery too is very long lasting, which is great since a replacement costs a lot

This is good for travel because of weight and easy of loading. Not so great for full time use because of jerky joystick. But worth it as a backup for travel.

Very happy with the design of the wheelchair. The portability is wonderful however the battery life is not what it claims to be. I am lucky to get 5 miles on a charge and have to take the charger with me everywhere I go and plug it in. Customer service is lacking. This is the first time I am hearing from anyone in 2 years. I had an issue when traveling abroad and sent an email with no reply. I would not re-order or recommend KD for that reason and would look to one of your competitors.

Impossible for a cripple to manage.

Your machine is great, except it looses speed and new batteries does not help. The top speed I get is about one half of what it was new. Not acceptable ! In fact it is so slow that I feel that I need to buy a new machine!

I've owned my chair for about three years now, and it's been relatively trouble free. It's been easy for me to fold up and leave in my SUV so it's always handy for appointments and shopping trips. Things that I am dissatisfied about: The pad that comes with the chair is the cheapest open cell foam that you can buy (think of the yellowish foam that items like TVs are sometimes packaged with). Within a short time, the pad completely flattened under my weight so it was uncomfortable to sit on for more than a short time. I contacted the company both by email and phone, but nothing appears to have been done. You'd think if you were spending $2,500.00 for a chair to help you get around, they would spend more than fifty cents for the part that you sit on to be comfortable. No dust cap for the plug-in for the electronics. Again, an important but inexpensive item that should be a no-brainer to include on the chair. The port that is on the joystick for the chair which is used to plug in the charger has no way to keep dust, debris or moisture out. a ten cent plastic dust plug would solve this problem and protect the electronics. Again, the company was contacted but no response. Lastly, I contacted the company again by email a few months ago to inquire if they had any suggestions or tips from other customers for a way to set up a simple winch device to aid in lifting the 60+ pound chair into a vehicle. Never heard from them. In summary, the chair is great, but the customer service deserves a one star rating -- it's non-existent. I posted a similar review once before on their website and it was promptly deleted.

Hard to know when batteries are running low.

Smart chair folds well for travel. Sits very low making it difficult to get out of. Not comfortable for long periods.
