This instance cash offer service is exactly what you think it would be, bad deal for you and best deal for them. Very last resort if you have no other choice. I drove away from their offers and thought I should have known better than to think this might be legit.

Salesman Jimmy was very dishonest with us during the purchase of this vehicle. We bought a Chevy Traverse on 10/24. They had to keep the vehicle for two days after purchase to repair the radio. When they delivered the SUV, it had rear end body damage. They tried to say that the damage was there when we purchased the vehicle, which is an absolute lie. After many phone calls, they agreed to fix the damage. Kia claimed to perform an oil change on 10/22/18. All fluids and oil levels were severely low and the oil is black and dirty. Now the traction control service light is flashing. We mentioned that this light had come on the day after delivery and the sales Manager Joe said they would take care of it if it continued. Now no one will call us back.

I think the dealers and KBB may be running a scam regarding pre-owned values. I just bought a 10 year old pickup. I went to a dealer to look at the vehicle and assess the options, etc. It was a base model with no options. Easy to run KBB analysis. So, at home, I do the KBB thing, it gives me a price range. I go to the dealer, they do the same thing, and the price range is higher. I got the sales guy to re-run the numbers, I watched him input the data. Consistently higher. I bought the vehicle anyway, and think I got a good deal. But I've run the numbers again at home, and it comes up lower every time. My Conspiracy Theory: The dealers login to KBB using a dealer login - it automatically jacks the price up 10%. Dealers help fund KBB with various promotional arrangements. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to know they're gaming the system in their favor.

Kelly Blue Book is a company in collusion with the insurance companies to value your vehicle at less t than there going rate. It's a tool for insurance companies to cheat you. It uses the value of your car post accident and they use all vehicles even totaled vehicles in it to average the price lower. I have a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT and it says to the $3, 000 OBO I can't buy one from Florida to California to New York for less than $4000. I can't get one for less than $6, 000 from Florida to North Carolina to New York to Illinois. They're crooked. The insurance commissioner can't do anything, they're impotent. Our government has been hijacked by insurance companies. Think that's paranoid? When was the last time you had to file a claim for your house or car or medical? Did you actually get what it would cost to make the repairs or get you well or did you have to do them yourself or put in a lot of extra money? We're forced by law to have insurance and then the insurance company that makes sweetheart deals with your Congressman to cheat us. Kelley Blue Book is one of their tools.
