DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS BASED IN CHINA BUT SUPPOSEDLY A "LEGITIMATE" COMPANY BASED IN LITHUANIA AND CLAIMING TO SELL THE #1 USA BRAND. THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THE PRICE IS IN US$ SO ANYONE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY USING LOCAL DOLLARS IS DUPED. THEY ADD ON SUBSCRIPTIONS, WARRANTY COSTS WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION AND ADD ON POSTAGE WITHOUT TELLING YOU WHAT IT WAS. THERE WAS NO OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW YOUR ORDER BEFORE PAYMENT WAS SNATCHED. WHEN I REALISED THE EXTRA $130 THEY ADDED TO MY BILL I DEMANDED CANCELLATION & A REFUND. THIS WAS REFUSED AS THEY SAID THE ORDER HAD BEEN SENT (AFTER 20 MINS!!)

When my order was completed items I did not want appeared on the order and I was unable to delete them. I now await the arrival or these so I can then begin the clumsy process of returning them and claiming my money back. Less than impressed!

I have never had so much trouble getting a parcel delivered. They got the address wrong in their database due to quirky formatting and then they basically put all the responsibility back on me to get it redirected. But the carrier couldn't be contacted. Despite my efforts to track the parcel down, in the end it was not delivered, and correpondence with the vendor ceased after I advised them that they needed to contact the carrier given that the vendor had assigned the job to them. After I posted the above review, Katuchef offered to send a replacement. However, the replacement was eventually sent to the same wrong address. The level of incompetence in this matter has been off the scale. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve the replacement parcel from the people at the incorrect address, who recognised that there had been a repeat performance by the merchant and held onto it until I turned up to claim it.

I purchased the titanium board online July 1, 2026 but just after I paid for the order, I realised it was in USD instead of AUD and I felt it was a lot more than I wanted to pay, so I immediately tried to cancel it. I sent an email and heard back from Victoria who said they couldn’t cancel it as it was immediately being processed. She said to wait until it comes and then return it via the courier saying “return to sender.” Unfortunately there was no notice when the package arrived on July 10th so I contacted Victoria again and let her know that I had received the package (I sent a photo). She said I should take it to the Post office and pay to have it returned to the sender. She said that once they received the order the refund would occur. I sent it to the only address on the package which said the sender was from PO Box 018, Sydney, NSW). I had the package tracked and over time could see there must have been a problem as I watched it come back to me on July 20. Australia Post circled the address and said it was a FAKE address. I have not opened the package and just want a refund. The person I was working with said she would pass it on to a colleague but I haven't heard a thing. I just want my money back!! July 25, 2026 Since this post, I finally decided to open the package just to see what the board looked like. In the package was a little card with phone numbers on it. I rang the one for Australia and spoke with Magi who was going to refund me 25% of the cost but I felt it wasn’t enough and I was prepared to send the board back, but then she has agreed to refund 45% of the whole price into my account next week and for me to keep the board. I am happy with this response. The reason I thought it may be a scam was because of the way the website is set up where you can’t create an account and the fact I was unable to cancel the purchase immediately. I couldn’t find any contact information either. Update: I have received many emails from various people, all stating there are technical difficulties and the refund will come soon. I don’t know who to believe. I spoke with Mavi from the Australian office and she assured me that she would take care of this after getting the order number. AS OF AUGUST 5, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND! Blake says the account has been sorted, but it hasn’t. Very Frustrated!!

Leider bin ich mit meinem Kauf bei Katu Chef sehr unzufrieden. Meinem Eindruck nach entspricht die Ware nicht den Erwartungen, die durch die Werbung und Produktbeschreibung geweckt werden. Die Verarbeitung wirkt auf mich eher günstig, die Materialqualität erscheint niedrig und an einigen Stellen waren scharfe Kanten vorhanden, was ich als unangenehm und mangelhaft empfunden habe. Zudem hatte ich den Eindruck, dass es sich nicht um die beworbene Premium-Qualität handelt. Für den verlangten Preis empfinde ich das Produkt als deutlich überteuert. Besonders enttäuschend war der Kundenservice: Auf meine Anfragen erhielt ich keine oder nur unzureichende Antworten. Auch die Rücksendung gestaltete sich meiner Erfahrung nach sehr schwierig bzw. war praktisch nicht möglich. Darüber hinaus empfand ich den Bestellprozess als sehr aggressiv gestaltet, mit starkem Verkaufsdruck und zusätzlichen Angeboten während der Bestellung. Insgesamt kann ich aufgrund meiner persönlichen Erfahrungen keine Empfehlung aussprechen und würde dort nicht erneut bestellen.

Waited several weeks for an order, didn't arrive. They sent out another ,wasn't as advertised, tried to return and they kept ignoring my messages until the 30 days were over, and then suddenly learnt how to email only to let me know 30 days had gone by and they were really sorry but couldn't help. I think there customer service is terrible and they deliberately delayed to avoid a return. Or maybe there customer service is exactly what they are being paid for

This cutting board is too small and surface is scratching and pealing from using the knife. Food can get the coating from pealing into the food being cut. Dangerous to ingest the coating.

The website itself is problematic It fails to display the fact that your purchase has been successful by promoting additional purchases which keep appearing. I ended up with two items, the second at a higher price, which I didn't need or want. And that's before the item(s) have even arrived, assuming they do, to be tested. Buyer beware!
