Our 30-day promotional trial is available to all customers. When card verification cannot be completed successfully, we offer an alternative way to activate the account. I had purchased some type of hosting with them 2 years ago and never actually cancelled the service, since my card was terminated by the bank anyway. But 2 years later, totally unaware of this, I was trying to purchase a VPS service with a new account; at first everything was fine, and I tried to link my card to billing. After a couple of tries, the account was suspended for some reason, and I was told to deposit $10 to unfreeze the account; after the deposit, the account was suspended again shortly after. Support said it was because I had unpaid debt in 2024 now asking me to pay another 25$ to reactivate the account. Customers don't have a responsibility to keep an eye out for overdue payments; it's Kamatera's fault for keep on providing the service after payments have failed. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

After cancelling my subscription in which the VPS was completely deleted they still say its "Active" when I told them in a ticket that I cancelled it. They are still trying to withdraw 180 to this day. I would NOT recommend putting your card on there.

I use Kamatera to host a VPS powering the user login system for my web application. The whole thing was set up half a year ago, mainly as practice exercise for myself. Setting up and running the server was completely hassle-free; the interface is well-organized and left no questions unanswered. What I'd especially like to highlight is the excellent customer service. My server may be the smallest plan they offer, and I'm hardly a major source of revenue for Kamatera, yet they still were very responsive and took the time to fully restore my account and server when I messed things up. That level of support really stood out to me.
