Do NOT buy a JVC 4K TV ! Absolute rubbish ! Will not hold Wi-Fi signal for long . You will spend most of your time resetting it . Picture is Pixelated on most UK Channels . Your better off Spending an extra £100 on an LG . Trust me it's worth it , Never had as much Stress buying that JVC TV , then taking it back too Currys . The store was great ! Hooked me up with a great LG . Lesson learned !!!

Not even 18 months old and the backlight has gone on this crap TV. The “smart” apps have never worked properly and says Wi-Fi not connected when clearly it is because I have to use a Roku box. The TV itself takes ages to come on if you forget and turn the plug off, nightmare! Don’t buy one, you will be disappointed.

I bought a LT-50CA890 Android TV 50" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED from curry’s 14 months ago. There are now just vertical lines on screen with no sound or picture.As expected Curry’s won’t honour out of warranty claim and I’m left shafted. These tv’s are utter rubbish so take my advice and stay well clear.

We have just purchased a JVC television for the bedroom because we have a 15-year-old JVC and it is still brilliant and based our purchase on this. The problem is that each time we use the remote control for the air con the TV comes on or goes off. There are far too many functions for which you have to register each function for it to work and that includes BBC1 &2 ITV 1 & channel 4 etc. The functions that do matter are not there ie fast forward. When I delved deeper the old TV was manufactured in Japan and the new TV utensil China. I would suggest purchasing an old JVC from auction sites and you will know this will work, that is if you want a JVC otherwise steer well clear.

Note that JVC themselves have not made TVs for a long time. The brand is licenced to Currys in the UK so any problems are their responsibilty/fault!! I got a JVC branded Android TV in a hurry to replace a broken TV - it was cheap and in stock. So far it is OK. A little slow to do some things, but most of the time I am watching via a Humax set top box.

Absolutely awful smart TV, Constantly having to retune along with shutting the power off to get a satisfactory response. I shall never purchase another JVC product again.

Still no info about their products problems...tv shuts down ....many times the menu stucks and you cant open ot to change the parameters on it and you must close the tv from the power supply and then open it again.....and it doesnt play the most popular platform ...there is no app to download for disney+....the worst products from the worst company....shame
