Dogs like, Owner has reservations…
Dogs like it but uses meat meal not real meat and no answer when I emailed the question are the vitamins and minerals added sourced from China? I found they are as most Purina foods found from another source. So unfortunately unless things change..I will not reorder.

Hi Sandra. We apologize, we're having trouble finding that email from you. We absolutely use real meat always. We also sometimes use chicken by-products, which are nutrient-rich organ meats and how we guarantee our natural source of glucosamine in our formulations. Organ meats like the liver, spleen and heart are a greater source of essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals and protein, than regular muscle meat. We also have recipes without that ingredient if you prefer. Almost all of our raw ingredients and vitamins and minerals come from right here in the States. Misled Shipping speed
The food itself, and the way it’s individualized for your pet is very very good. I have an issue with their response times and customer service. I switched from another prescription food to this service because I really liked their price point and online platform. I ordered the food on a Friday. I called their office on Monday and inquired about how long the food usually takes to arrive. They assured me it would be a couple of days so I decided to not get my dogs another bag of food since I still had about 3 days worth. I did not receive the food until Friday night- so a total of about 4-5 days since I called. It would be best for them to be more honest about shipping speed inquiries because the UPS label said 5-7 days ground service. I don’t have an issue with waiting and I know there’s shipping delays due to the pandemic. But please don’t lie to customers about the shipping speed. I’d rather be told over the expected time and get it early. Other than that, I am pleased with this service.

Hi Liz, we responded to your email complaint as well. Thank you for the review. We apologize. It is never our intention to mislead our customers on our processing and shipping time. Orders are hand-blended and custom packed on the next business day after the order is placed. A personalized blend ordered on Friday will not leave with UPS until EOD Monday. It is typical for UPS Ground to take an additional 3-5 business days, which is what we share with our customers.

Just curious
Just curious, I've previously ordered both the beef and chicken, and have identified the difference by color. Both times that I've switched and ordered beef, I received chicken. That's my only complaint. Aside from that I love the product and it's working well for my dog.

Hi Jay, we replied to your email as well. Because we make our food in small batches, colors can be slightly different. This can be due to our raw ingredients and the cooking process. Your most recent order was the grain-free beef recipe you helped us formulate. We have a very sophisticated scanning process for mixing our personalized kibble to make sure the exact components and proportions are selected. Happy to send you another beef order, if you'd like.
