Hi Patrick,
Thank you for your feedback, and it seems like the other party hasn't responded to your demand letter 🙁 On our end, I can see you were able to use our free tool to create a demand letter and requested we ship your letter, which we did. While our tool creates a formal demand letter designed to help settle disputes outside of court, we, unfortunately, cannot guarantee a response from the other party. Learn more about the next steps if you don't receive a response to your demand letter: https://justicedirect.com/post/next-steps-after-sending-a-demand-letter.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us ([email protected]) if you have any questions.

Not for Demand Letters
I would not recommend using JusticeDirect in the context of other, cheaper, more successful options. I attempted to use JusticeDirect to send a demand letter to Meta regarding a wrongful suspension of my Facebook and Instagram accounts; I anticipated an attorney who would call me and speak to me about my case. For $300.00, I communicated with JusticeDirect only through text, and did not receive any direct communication with my attorney, instead speaking to a customer service representative. The drafting of my demand letter was slow and took almost an entire month -- I was not informed of what the process would look like once it got delivered, and was told that since the letter had been sent, my contract with JusticeDirect was terminated (technically correct, but not the best business model for legal issues). I received no response from Meta (I believe this is because of JusticeDirect's reputation: they are a pay-per-letter rather than a legal subscription. I am deeply disappointed that I did not even receive an acknowledgement of my letter's arrival (I believe this is because JusticeDirect only sent it to one legal address), and wish I could have spent that $300 better elsewhere. LegalShield, for example, costs $30 a month for unlimited demand letters and direct attorney-to-client discussion. Overall, I am saddened that I cannot receive a refund for this letter. If I could receive even a partial portion of the several hundred dollars I spent given Meta not even acknowledging the letter, I would. I recommend looking elsewhere.

Hi Brandon,
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience — we’re sorry to hear that you have not received a response from Meta, and we appreciate your honest feedback. Our goal is always to make legal services more accessible and affordable, and we take input like yours seriously as we continue improving our services.
To clarify, our process includes attorney review and preparation of your demand letter. Your attorney communicate updates in writing through your secure online account and email. We understand that not offering live phone calls with an attorney for our attorney demand letter service may feel impersonal, but this helps us offer a more affordable service and it also lets you have a written trail of their feedback in case you need to review it at a later time.
We’ve reviewed your feedback internally and are exploring ways to improve clarity around timelines, delivery details, and expectations — especially for cases involving large companies, where response rates from the other party can vary. While we can’t control whether a company replies to a demand letter, we’re here to support you in considering next steps, including small claims if appropriate.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention and for giving us the opportunity to follow up. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can support you further.

Hi Ren,
Thank you for sharing your concerns. Our law firm helps individuals draft demand letters and navigate legal matters suited for small claims court. In California, the maximum claim limit is $12,500, which is significantly lower than the amount you’re seeking.
We do not offer legal representation on a contingency basis, and we don’t handle high-profile defamation lawsuits. For cases involving complex legal issues or substantial damages, we recommend reaching out to a law firm that specializes in defamation or media law.
As for your demand letter, I’m sorry to hear you haven’t received a response :( You can learn more about the next steps to take after sending a demand letter in our guide here: https://justicedirect.com/post/next-steps-after-sending-a-demand-letter

Waste of money, effort & time
Very disappointed. Heard absolutely nothing. Don’t even know if the company actually received the letter. For the money paid, I
Should have a tracking number or evidence it was mailed & received. Going completely on trust because I was desperate to find a result. How do I even know you did what I paid for? Got my hopes up for nothing.
