Waiting for a month to get support for their Yelo product. Still no result or even any feedback about the process. No ethical approach and no proper communication. Just apologies for and delays. The product is nice but the support service is terrible!

I’ve spent years developing with this company and a lot of money. Poor communication and my contract was not met by their team and the site was not functional for months and months. I’m still working on getting a response from anyone about my platform.

Update: Since my initial review the team at JW have reached out to me & offered extra credit months & extensions for the delays. They also indicated that their customer service vacuum has been fixed and account managers will not chop & change willy-nilly & without notice. The tech team ticketing system has improved & they promise better turn-around times for resolution of issues. The company seems to be aware of their problems & outlined some of the steps they are taking to remedy these, they are actively working to restore my confidence & trust which I appreciate. So...I have decided to take another leap of faith & really hope I don't come back with egg on my face in a few months. *fingers crossed* ORIGINAL POST I am running an on-demand hair services start-up in South Africa. It is time for my renewal and I have never had a full-fledged working product from Jungleworks. I ordered YELO, TOOKAN and the customer & agent mobile apps. I signed a contract with the company just before the global pandemic reached the proportions it did (April 2020) so when my project was delayed by 1st a few days, then weeks and eventually months I accepted the pandemic excuse & exercised some patience. During my time with JW, I have had over 6 account managers, only 1 did an official hand-over, I found out about the rest when I incessantly contacted the "incorrect" ones, at some point the one even told me he no longer works there. After numerous delays, technical issues, ghosting me and more, my mobile apps were eventually published in May 2021 and in June 2021 I was contacted by a NEW account manager. Mind you, I was still texting/emailing who I thought was my account manager but who cares right? I'm only a customer?! This particular AM resolved most of my concerns and I felt I was finally making progress & could finally launch officially. Soon afterwards, however, he informed me that my plan was being discontinued and I have to renew to the new plans which cost almost 50% more! Just for context, I had 1986 (out of 2000) tasks still remaining on Tookan as I had just finished onboarding merchants when I discovered the scheduling errors & to avoid a reputational risk, I ceased operating and went back to testing. It is 27 July as I type this, essentially this company wants me to pay (DOUBLE) for a product that has literally NEVER worked as intended. Full product received about 2 months ago when apps went live and after onboarding merchants, we discovered that clients cannot schedule bookings at their convenience but have to wait for merchant to be online. Today we tested this scheduling functionality after waiting over a week, and still it did not work. My AM confirmed it was a back-end issue & not a configuration error & sent it back to the tech team. Later it was tested again & I was told it is fixed! Could these sudden quick turn-around times have anything to do with the $$? But, before I even had a chance to test it myself as I indicated that I would not be paying 1 more cent until this basic issue was resolved. My account was blocked & I was ordered to pay a "lock-in" renewal fee & my sweet-talking AM told me to trust him. This is the final straw- I have finally begun to make revenue on the platform and requested them to fix this issue but instead they close my marketplace & hold me ransom. These people ONLY care about money & that is obvious. After months of me exercising understanding, patience & ubuntu, they suddenly have rules & clauses which are automatic on the system. Disappointing! WARNING TO POTENTIAL CLIENTS The employees are very friendly people who promise the world but don't be fooled as I was, I have a full-time job which is the only reason I could keep afloat. I spent about 40% of my years earnings for this non-product. In the 3 months since the app was published, I managed to sign up 109 merchants which shows the business strategies I have are effective but the technology is a let-down!
