Jungle House - Luxury AirbnbReviews of junglehouse.org

I booked the stay and was emailed 5 times, messaged 9 times and called three times within 24 hours without me being able to respond due to traveling. There were ants all over the kitchen counters. We weren’t able to cook or use kitchen comfortably due to amount of ants. The top floor had two queens. The home was so old the floors were creaking with every step. The beds were so noisy because of the floors creaking with every move, we could not comfortably fall asleep whatsoever. A man was scoping around the outside and fumbling through the neighbors mail boxes and looking through belongings. House has capacity for 10 people. They charged an additional $245 for two children after the stay on top of regular fees for only 2 adults.

Buyer beware! I paid for a refundable 1BD/1BA at Casa Uno in Columbus, for a 4-night stay June 28-July 1. Jungle House was very responsive during the booking process, quickly answering questions about nearby gyms and offering tips based on my replies. Four days after paying them for the reservation, I emailed to cancel. No response, even after following up. And when I called the number listed on the Jungle House web site: 1) the call disconnected after a few rings and 2) I got a message saying the line wasn’t in service. I’ve filed a dispute and a refund request with my credit card company

Avoid at all cost, they have hidden fees attached to their “rental contract”. We got a really great last min deal and were excited to stay here. Prior to checking in I got a text stating I could get in an hour early for an additional $29 or three hours early for 79 extra dollars this is usually a complementary thing with the most places you stay. On the third night we had 4 additional people over for game night. We had 4 people registered to the place and it sleeps 16. They were visiting. The owner/management called the police and had us thrown out because there was more people than what we registered at the place. Without any refund of the additional day we paid for. In addition the next day my bank account was debited 800$, 200$ for the additional guests in the building (that were visiting, not staying),, 300$ for and unauthorized event and an additional 300$ because one of us accidentally brushed their ring camera and they called it “tampering“, no damages, it moved. The line of sight for security purposes was the same. Honestly, I believe they were trying to recoup the money they lost by running a last minute sale on the place. It’s honestly disappointing and disgusting that people think they can treat people like this. I wish I would’ve read other dissatisfied reviews prior to booking so that I knew better. The place is cute, it’s old and covered up w paint. I hope that this review stops someone from being taken advantage of by people who literally do not care and will pull money out of your bank account without letting you know.

The home is beautiful! it as a great stay and will be coming back next year for sure

I had a great experience wit Junglehouse. The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Check-in was smooth, and the team was helpful throughout the stay. The location was convenient, and the space itself was comfortable and thoughtfully set up for guests. Overall, I would definitely stay with Junglehouse again and recommend it to others looking for a place to stay.

This place charged me for my child under 5 years old an extra 100 dollars after I left! Place was left spotless and everything do not book with them!!

I booked a stay through Hotels.com. The accommodation itself was fine. The process surrounding the booking was not. Even though Hotels.com specifically advises against making payments or handling transactions outside of the platform, the host required me to complete check in steps and payments through external links from the very beginning. This included a security deposit or a fifty nine dollar waiver instead of the listed three hundred dollar deposit. I also received repeated promotional and reminder emails despite already being booked, which raised concerns early on. Their intake form collected full guest information. After my stay, the host attempted to charge my card for additional guest fees that were never clearly disclosed. The charge was ultimately taken without my authorization, and I had to file a dispute with my bank. This does not feel like a simple mistake. While the property exists and the stay itself was fine, the payment practices and post stay charge attempt were unethical and extremely concerning. I would not recommend booking this property.

Very sketchy company. They lie in their listings about number of beds. Very dirty place. Unauthorized charges after rental. Avoid at all costs.
