JPG LegalReviews of jpglegal.com

These guys are quick, efficient and professional. Pretty much a seamless service. They take your requirements and run off and do their thing and you have every confidence they know what they're doing and are on it. Would have given them 5 stars, but occasionally had to chase things up a couple of times. All in all it's as good as you can get from a distance-based service. Will definitely use them again.

We had a feeling our trademark was going to be a tricky case because of how popular the name seemed to be, but with the great advice that JPG provided, we weighed the pros and cons and decided it was worth filing. JPG's team has been extremely professional and has made this somewhat complicated process easy to understand. They've taken care of everything, walking us through the process and answering all of our questions. Money well spent for the time saved on paperwork and research alone. They know what they are doing!

We needed to register a number of trademarks. The team responded promptly, submitted as required and followed up on the award. Great work!

Great firm, super helpful and responsive. They are very good at explaining topics that might otherwise seem complicated. But probably the best thing about them is that I don't have the constant sense that I'm having my money drained away. Other law firms charge me for everything, including phone calls and minor filings. JPG Legal seems to try their best not to surprise me with charges. Their pricing accounts for most minor filings that might come up in a trademark application, making them a much better deal than they might seem at first. Much better than working with other law firms!

I used JPG Legal's services when obtaining a trademark for my business. This was my first time getting a trademark, so I didn't know how it worked, but JPG Legal simplified the process and made everything go smoothly. As a small business owner I appreciated the competitive pricing as well. Nice to have a law firm I know I can count on for this kind of thing. Definitely recommend!

I am the owner of a company operating in Australia and Europe. I was looking for some advice on my application for trademark protection in the United States. I found JPG Legal by accident, and was very, very impressed with the subsequent service I received. Jeremy was responsive and thorough, and clearly has a wealth of relevant and current knowledge in this domain. He provided clear and honest advice, allowing me to make informed decisions with confidence. JPG Legal provided me with reliable, trustworthy advice. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

This was my third trademark, but my first with JPG Legal. They were much better than my previous law firm in a lot of ways. One thing I really appreciated was that they don't hide fees. In situations where a fee might arise later, they told me before I committed to anything. Their service was also top notch and their pricing is excellent, especially considering that even the "basic" package includes responses to minor office actions from the PTO!

I’ll not add any commentary. Based on the email thread below, you can decide if my rating is warranted. Please note, I was a repeat client, and this was my 2nd trademark order. - Email 1 = On Mar 25, 2021 AM M wrote: Hi DX, I'll go ahead and upgrade to the Safe Package. Is there a new timeline for the application review? MX - Email 5 = From: DX, JPG Legal Sent: May 18, 2021 To: MX @XX Hi MX, I was actually waiting for you to reply to my last email so I can finalize your application. Can you please confirm? Anyway, I assume it's been paid so I went ahead and finalized the application. See filing receipt attached. DX Associate Attorney, JPG Legal - Email 6 = Sent: May 18, 2021 To: DX, JPG Legal DX, I just had a chance to review the application and I saw it is dated May 12th. That means...as I said in a previous email...it has been almost 8 WEEKS! This is a significant problem. I mean, waiting for me to reply to your email with regards to a payment confirmation is no excuse for an 8-week delay with no follow-up on a fully-funded order. Especially with the fact that your office sent me a receipt for my payment. I paid the upgrade invoice the same day it was sent to me on March 26th. Am I to assume no one in your office processed and deposited my payment in the last 8 weeks and there has been no communication within your office with regards to account receivables and updating client orders/accounts. And that leads me to my next question.... when were you going to follow up? I mean...it has been 8 weeks! One week...ok. Two weeks..fine! But 8 WEEKS...really!! If I had not emailed you last week...would my order still be in limbo for 10 weeks....12 weeks..indefinitely! This is unacceptable! This delay will cost me money and time. Based on my previous application, I was expecting everything to be finalized by August/September thereabouts assuming no problems. Now...that deadline is no good and my app timeline is now worthless which will ultimately cost me money. It's going on two days since I emailed you and I haven't heard anything..I’m absolutely livid! The level of apathy that is being displayed regarding my order (A REPEAT UPGRADED ORDER AT THAT) is something I can't put into words right now! How are you going to make this right? This 8 WEEK delay may potentially cost me thousands! And to think ...I was looking to file more applications through your firm...but now. MX - Email 8 = From: DX, JPG Legal Sent: May 21, 2021 To: MX @XX Hi MX, I’m so sorry you felt that way. We always strive to work as efficiently as possible with all of our clients. As a courtesy, I’ve processed a refund of $300. You should receive a separate email regarding the refund before the end of the day. DX Associate Attorney, JPG Legal - Email 9 = On May 27, 2021 MXX wrote: Hello DX, I received the refund, and I took a few days to calm down. But to be frank with you, that $300 won't come close to covering the costs associated with me not being able to launch in Q4. However, I won't belabor the issue; I trusted you and your firm, got burnt, I’ll lose money, and that's that. Moving forward, I’ll not let this happen again. I’ll be contacting you regularly to check on the status of my order. Under the current circumstance, I expect a response within 24 to 48 hours and not the 7 to 10 business days that have been the norm. That being said, please provide me with a new timeline for my application. MX - Email 10 = On May 27, 2021 JX, JPG Legal wrote: MX, I've been following this thread and I've reviewed every email in it. Based on your behavior, I don't think we can work with you anymore so I've refunded you in full through your credit card and through PayPal. We are formally withdrawing as law firm of record with the USPTO. If you'd like representation or any future trademarks, please find a different attorney to work with. JX Response Update -- Due to the character limit, I can't reply as I would like. However, I’ll pose this one question, if I were the type of client described by JPGL, why do a 2nd trademark for me? JPGL's narrative is misleading and parts are simply not true. Framing me and our last transaction as they did is an attempt to discredit my review.
